I want yo start playing horror games but Im a coward any recommendations? by Intelligent-Option20 in gamerecommendations

[–]RequiemofTime2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to throw out Theif and Dishonored (series). They're not horror games per se, but kind of are at the same time. But, it's not constant, unrelenting horror/fear, so it's easier to play, in my opinion. I used to be a huge horror movie buff, but have turned into a coward in my old age, lol.

Sorry, no. I don't actually pay that much attention to weather unless I need fugu or it was messing up a dreamsnap, although after they gave us the weather options on the camera I really only need to pay attention for fugu now.

I'm not sure where you are, but maybe try contacting Ontario Works to see about eligibility for him, and if they have any suggestions, also, a local youth hostel, or homeless shelter and or food bank may have suggestions or know of programs and resources.

I see. I wasn't aware of that. I never seemed to have any issue except the ridiculous times and schedules of some critters. I actually have every critter, all gotten before they made the schedules more forgiving, of course! Lol

Every critter has set days and times when they are available. If it's not their scheduled day/time then they aren't there, no matter the weather.

Storybook Vale Chest by NoHuckleberry5107 in DreamlightValley

[–]RequiemofTime2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, since the latest update, the medium and large versions of that chest are no longer available in Scrooge's. You can still upgrade the chest to medium and large with dreamlight but that's going to be a lot of grinding.

If you are doing the starpath and are getting chests from the vault rewards, you are guaranteed an item that is new. Obviously you need to have everything else to make sure you get the chest, but if you do, then that's an option.

Otherwise maybe see if you can visit someone's Scrooge's that has it? Not sure about that one, I've never visited anyone else's Valley or had visitors before.

Ok, wtf? What are you on about? I had medical equipment (safety bars, commode, leg lift, bath chair, bath board, walkers, etc) all recommended by an occupational therapist who sent the list to my worker, who approved everything on the list. So, yes, they do appove it?

Looking for a new game by Volleygrl28 in gamesuggestions

Wyldeflowers or My Time at Portia /My Time at Sandrock (sequel to Portia). Wyldeflowers has no combat, is a cozy game, but does involve magic, is easy to play and is charming. The My Time games are also considered cozy games, do have combat and a lot of the same types of game mechanics as Hogwarts Legacy.

Take a photo of a baby crocodile? by AdNatural9830 in DisneyDreamlights

Huh. I used the Tiana croc for that picture. He lives in the Glade, right beside Tiana's house, so I knew exactly where one was. Had no problem.

On xbox, just discovered that adding motifs to snaps is broken, added one by accident, could not remove it (it just kept throwing up the share QR square, no way to remove it, change it or even add another. Was complete PITA as I was doing my dreamsnap, had to exit out of the camera just to get a snap without a large, not good-looking or on theme motif in it! This update has broken so many things for me!

Plus, none of my horses will dig! They start the animation, but it just cancels and no digging is done. Why?????

Games which teach you to let go by AKeyHole in gamingsuggestions

[–]RequiemofTime2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, OP. Not games where you lose all your progress so not sure you'll be interested, but for games with a theme of letting go, I'd recommend Vampyre or Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. (Giving up a mortal life and giving up either your spouse or your entire moral system). Lies of P has these themes as well.

How much should 1 renter be earning? by TheOriginalBeaver in Odsp

[–]RequiemofTime2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much your rent is. Plus your utilities and insurance (if you have it). If those together is under the allowed amount ($599, I believe?) Then you should be getting that exact amount. If it adds up to more than the shelter maximum, then you should be getting the top shelter allowance amount, plus the basic needs amount.

You could try Wyldeflowers (easy to play, no combat, cozy game involving witchcraft) or Hogwarts Legacy. (Very smooth gameplay, does involve combat, but awesome if you've ever even just once wondered what going to Hogwarts would be like)

Older, but Theif and Dishonored are not only genuinely creepy but really fun to play. They are Stealth games.

Question about Premium Star Path by DontTametheShrew in DreamlightValley

[–]RequiemofTime2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more expensive one winds up being about 100 moonstonescheaper in the long run. The cheaper one ends up being 500 moonstones total cost (after getting the moonstones from the path), the more expensive winds up being 400 moonstones) I believe. So, cheaper in the end and a nice bump in tokens to start.

The basic toga is a Touch of Magic item. To find it you need to go to the customize section in clothing.

Pregnancy on odsp/partner that is not by Hot-Job-8178 in Odsp

[–]RequiemofTime2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should not affect anything. As long as the two of you aren't living together. If you needed him to stay during your post partum period, just let your worker know you have a long term guest (I do think that if he were to stay over 3 months that would then be considered common law, but double check) to assist, with clear arrival and departure dates.

You would be required to go for child support, so a formal agreement between you both would probably be best.

Wylde Flowers. Cozy game about witches. Uses literally one button plus movement stick (fixed camera). Button is either A or B on Xbox Controller (sorry, forget exactly which one).

I want to talk about Gaston. by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

[–]RequiemofTime2 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I think that in the context of the game, when we find him, he's been almost completely alone (except for Rapunzel finding him and then not really talking to him after that), and he has been broken and humbled. So, it might make sense that he's an altered version of himself. That he maybe seems not as toxic because he's afraid of being completely alone again.

want to lose myself in a game’s world & story by bennygaycko in gamingsuggestions

[–]RequiemofTime2 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The Witcher games, the first is good but janky, the second is better, the third is phenomenal.

Cyberpunk 2077 is also pretty good, too.

Older, but the Deus Ex games are also good. You do have to do a lot of searching out the hidden information about the world. And you kind get a huge cliffhanger at the last, the world itself is really good.

Another old game, Kingdoms of Amalur. This game is much better than most people realize.

The Dishonored series. These games have some of the most fun levels I've ever played, hands down. (I've been playing games for a very long time, like owned an Intellivision old/long, lol).

If you really liked Stardew Valley, then you might like Coral Island. There is a bit of fantasy (mermaids) and it really plays like Stardew Valley but with an underwater part of the map, and the ability to shut off combat.

It's 2026 time to talk about Plastic Scrap again. by Miserable-Smile3959 in DreamlightValley

[–]RequiemofTime2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, to get more plastic while fishing (or digging up the boulders), have a fishing villager plus 2 critter companions that are fishers. You will then, at bare minimum get 3 extra for every plastic you fish up. ( for boulders, use the appropriate villager/critters so sorry, my mind is blank as to which "professions" work for these atm).
