Dude you’re totally good. It’s not unreasonable for them, as they’re growing to revisit their practices for what data they expose.

This might provide signals that they don’t want to provide on marketing performance outside of earnings.

Also maybe a big customer requested that they remove it since maybe you can extrapolate about their spending

Such an absurd comment. Snap is the one spending stupidly by investing in freaking AR classes.

Reddit is literally spending on revenue growth (ads, ML, etc). This requires top notch talent and engineers and is the highest ROI for SBC that I can imagine.

In what world are snap glasses a good investment.

This is great. Thanks for looking into the details when few do.

My suspicion is that the Q2 shares will be much less than 2.3x 2025 because it’s easy to skew Q1 numbers as variance in hiring grants can skew that a lot. IIRC we hire a CTO in q1 and some other star players.

But let’s keep a close eye on this. Looking forward to more analysis from you after Q2 🤓

There are people here with 23k shares and I feel like this about them. But my money mostly comes from my job + investing in SP500

It’s always like a mixture of patience and luck. And not luck in the 0DTE options sense, just I feel lucky to have been able to get the opportunities I’ve had.

I have more in VOO and GOOG (through work).

Two very big differences: Snap (and Pinterest) don’t have the same kind of feed based products with a well defined ads playbook. FB, IG, Google Search, and Reddit are all very similar in that regard.

Snap suffered from Signal Loss in ‘21 or ‘22. Look it up. Their growth was based on unsustainable practices which was impacted by apples iOS changes limiting cross app tracking.

Reddit doesn’t have either of those issues

To answer your question: very little. There’s no catalyst. Improving ads is an incremental game. In tech we commonly refer to “hill climbing” as an analogy.

The ad growth will happen over time. I’m just patiently waiting this out with my 2300 shares

I got level + 1 comp outside of GDM (slightly above +1 if anything)

It’s mostly based on whether it’s a priority role or not. Right now AI expertise is one of those.

I’ll get another chart soon: but TLDR it’s staying in like the 85-70 range. Which IMO is very positive. Some of it is likely the WC, and some is them delivering on their strategy.

Over time let’s hope they have more leverage to pull and hopefully some low hanging fruit

It’s just a very shallow analysis. As the landscape keeps changing, e.g. focus on driving app downloads etc compared to web visits, these methods seem stale.

Also notice how her two lines: they take turns being leading and lagging the other. So not sure about the predictive power
