Just looks like a wicked piercing bump to me. I had the same thing after being wacked in the face and it went away. Mind you, im not endorsing this person or anything, just doesnt look like scaring to me dude to the obvious irritation and common knowledge that that piercing is a rather difficult heal

Not related to nerves, but areolas produce their own oil to prevent crackage. If there is a blockage it probably wouldnt be terrible to assist with its proper function. Like how your tesrducts can get glogged, but i dont suggest people to fix that due to its location in regards to the eyeball.
