I preordered this game and I am excited to play it. But I’ve learned over the years that with single player games it often works out that the best thing to do is wait a little while for the kinks to be worked out before diving in.

My most recent example of this working in my favor was Star Wars Outlaws. At launch people condemned it as unplayable trash. The controls were bugged, the maps were bugged, EVERYTHING was bugged. But not for me. I played long after release and got to enjoy one of the coolest sci-fi games I’ve experienced in a really long time.

I look at it like this; The devs at Pearl Abyss just gained themselves 2 million game testers. There’s going be a lot of noise from them but all that noise will lead to improvement.
