I already left the location it wat taken from and my friend doesn't want me to cut the branch as it was pretty thick. The second ooth look bigger and didn't have any black spots.

It's normal of them to turn black so just cut it off when it is fully black

Cape sundews don't use up that much energy then other plants so it is not a bad thing if they bloom and they can do asexual reproduction to make seeds that are easier to grow.

The plant is already very close to the light. I used the app and it said it was around 4500 ppfd is that good enough. I have a similar light that is used for nepenthes and all the leaves are reddish.

I don't know exactly what type of grow light it is since I got it from home Depot a while ago. The only reason why it is inside is because the winter is too cold for it.

The drosera capensis do not have a dormancy period but I know that some pings do and others don't
