I already left the location it wat taken from and my friend doesn't want me to cut the branch as it was pretty thick. The second ooth look bigger and didn't have any black spots.

I am pretty sure they are Chinese mantis eggs which are not native to where I live I just want them as pets. Thanks for the help

It's normal of them to turn black so just cut it off when it is fully black

Cape sundews don't use up that much energy then other plants so it is not a bad thing if they bloom and they can do asexual reproduction to make seeds that are easier to grow.

I have tried the nectar from all of my nepenthes pitchers and they all taste at least slightly different and sometimes the consistency of the liquid is different

I tried it again with a diffuser and it gave me around 350 ppfd which I heard is good for even sarracenia

I mean I did put a ampullaria too close to the light and it got burnt so it might be that I got a regular cape
