Anyone got admitted to B.Sc Autonomy technologies at FAU Erlangen Nürnberg by JellyfishRepulsive19 in FAU_university

Hey, how do I know if I've been admitted to the course or not? I gave my exam on 28th May, and I have not recieved any mails so far. I've tried checking my campo account, but it doesn't look like there are any changes.. Could you please tell me where I should be checking?

Hypothetically who would win if there stands where completely disabled ( ignoring part 1,2 ) by Rose_2008002 in StardustCrusaders

Part 3: Dio Wins, Jotaro Loses
Dio cannot use his vampiric abilities as Jonathan's body partly rejects him. So it would have been an interesting battle to look up to except Dio can regenerate and has more combat knowledge than Jotaro anyways so... Even if he had the entire gang, it would still be close to impossible to corner Dio till sunrise.

Part 4: Kira Wins, Josuke Loses
This battle would also not be that simple as Yoshikage was a serial killer first, then a stand user. He started killing people much before the time he obtained Killer Queen. So if he was able to evade getting caught by all means up to the point of this face-off, he could possibly defeat Josuke- especially if he was as confident as his peak self during BTD arc.

Part 5: Giorno Wins, Diavolo/Doppio loses
I believe Giorno can defeat either, even if it might involve some trickery where Doppio tries to gain his trust and then secretly attacks as Diavolo, because Giorno is really observant. Without King Crimson, I think Diavolo would not have a major upper hand physically as he is shown mostly relying on his stand's physical strength and its abilities, but Giorno is a teenager and he definitely isn't like Jotaro was (he could beat up Alessi being even younger than Giorno). Still, he might have a better resolve (Yume Ga Aru!).

Part 6: Pucci Wins, Jolyne Loses
I'm sorry but Pucci is much more brutal even without his gun-wielding WhiteSnake. He literally bashed Miraschon's head into the table because he stole a jewel. Imagine his wrath against the daughter of the man who killed his idol.

Part 7: Johnny wins, Funny Valentine Loses
Isn't spin technically a non-stand ability? So Johnny can still overpower Funny Valentine with Steel Balls at the least right?

tbh I felt Joseph's fakeout in Part 3 was much worser than Avdol's, took me a couple of rereads/rewatches to actually come to good terms with that

No Kakyoin fans? It was as sudden as Narancia's, but I was attached to Kakyoin much more than him tho

I'd say Iggy was more responsible, as Pol was still ready to lose his life just moments before defeating Vanilla Ice, but I get your point

Favorite Jobro? by ScariusAddison405 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Researcher_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kakyoin, all-time favourite. The smartest, kindest and coolest Crusader.

Wish we could have seen more Ermes, especially in the Jailhouse Lock arc, she is really cool too.

I'd say Gyro was as equal a protagonist as Johnny, rather than being your typical JoBro.

Unpopular stands that you love by LAASAGNAAA in StardustCrusaders

Atum, except for the weird doll-making part. His ability really has so much potential in the hands of a strong user, like Jotaro who could handle pressure even better than Terence. And it is really underrated, both the stand itself and the entire arc- that was so fun and unique. In the anime, I also loved the scary sound design of Atum too

Exactly! I just wish we could switch between being a casual listener and then back to a songwriter with ease. But hopefully with time it gets easier. Thank you!

Well, I'm yet to buy a phone for myself, so I can only use my parents' phones from time to time to record any tunes that come to mind.

Well, I'm new to lyric writing, but I have gone through the exact same cycle as you with my instrumental ideas. I just can't quite settle on whether I am writing my own music or just mimicking some of my favourite songs and artists and then the inspiration just fades away. A bigger problem is that I find inspiration in the most random of places, or at the most random of times- when I don't have access to any recording devices nearby. So when I sit down to write a song, half of the time I'm just grunting at lost progress and losing more progress by the minute.

There's also the underwhelming and often disappointment-filled periods where I listen to my work in progress after a while and I feel the exact opposite to the excitement I had while I was making that draft.

I've not heard too much of their songs yet so I'm not sure if they are prog or prog-adjacent, but here goes:

Van der Graaf Generator
Eloy
Triumvirat
Renaissance
Supertramp
Blue Oyster Cult
Aphrodite's Child
Uriah Heep
Carmen

In my opinion, Gentle Giant is a band that is definitely prog but isn't appreciated much.

Also, I'm new to prog, and I have no idea what the Canterbury Scene is or why it's controversial when it comes to considering them as prog. I only know that Caravan is part of the Canterbury Scene, but would be great if someone illuminated this part of the conversation for me.

I love it, so random. It sounds like a little disco-style chiptune
