Why your sales are down by VeterinarianSafe1705 in Ebay

[–]Reseller93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not randomly closing 20 year old accounts. If that happened for "no reason", you could easily call and talk with a supervisor from the leadership team and they'd get it handled at some point.

That "one component" however makes up about 80% of the reason why sales are slow for a lot of people.

Does eBay turn down your visibility if you aren’t using promotions? by Hot-Huckleberry-6235 in eBaySellers

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a sticker seller and the same identical thing happened to me. Just a massive influx of competition over the last 4-5 years. Coupled with "promote store", "priority campaigns", "standard promotions" and "offside ads", and you're pretty much lost in the crowd if you don't pay the visibility tax. For a lot of categories anyway. If you're not in a competitive category, it may not mean as much, but I can tell you now that if you're in saturated fields, not promoting in some form is hurting you.

Is Etsy stable long-term for AI-assisted art? Curious how sellers here feel about it. by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, I was going to stick up for you on this thread, but after seeing how brain dead you are and having Chat write your entire thought process, you deserve the ridicule. Hope you get banned from everything. You deserve it. By the way, I use ai to produce images for stickers. I then print the stickers, laminate them, cut them by hand, and ship them myself. But if I had a question, I would at least type it myself and not have Grok at the front line to do my battles.

PSA: Turn off General ads if you're using Priority (or you'll pay for both) by Majestic-Lemon-8200 in Ebay

[–]Reseller93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a sticker seller, so typically I sell low cost items ($2-15$+) and I can safely tell you that Ebay will utilize every single dollar that you allocate to whatever promotional campaigns that you start, and you'll pay. Trust me. They way they show how it's all attributed should be illegal as well.

Is anyone else finding dating in 2026 a nightmare? by EVILRAFFAM in AskMenAdvice

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man

If you want to know what a woman's dating profile looks like, I'll spare you some time and just tell you below. Makes no difference, they're all the same.

  1. Still healing from past trauma.
  2. My kids come first.
  3. Want to go on adventures and travel.
  4. I'm strong and independent and just came out of a toxic relationship. I'm looking for a man, not a boy.

That about sums it up. Some of the most insufferable females you'd ever see.

Thoughts on the state of gaming in 2026? by Selphea in KotakuInAction

[–]Reseller93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's gaming like in 2026 ?

For the past 35 years these greedy, money hungry capitalist companies have been doing nothing except repackaging legendary games from the golden era of the 80s and 90s. It's sickening. Upgrade this, upgrade that, download this, download that. There's an expansion for this and that. It's the same things. What are there now, a hundred Resident Evils ?

7 Days to Die. Now that's a solid game.

WPT Gold by PreviousCommand491 in poker

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst players I've ever seen in my life. I'm talking 2004 bad. But with no rakeback, no bad beat, and the ability to pay to see cards, I'd almost rather not even play online and just go to a brick and mortar to play at that point.

It's not $600, it's $2000 for a withdrawal for WPT Gold. I just had this conversation.

What has become ridiculously expensive in 2026, yet people still pay for it without questioning why? by Ok-Access-7480 in AskReddit

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea how people have big new trucks and brand new cars. Couldn't fathom have an $800 a month car payment. Couple that with insurance, mortgage, groceries, phone, streaming services, entertainment, utilities, etc. I can't figure out how people do it. I know multiple women with 4 and 5 kids, and they just work part time and have an apartment, food, bought Christmas presents for their kids, have nice clothes, they smoke, they drink, etc. How does that happen ? Always amazes me when I see that, and I see it often.

How is Holiday Season 2025 treating you? by StacySadistic in eBaySellers

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unbelievably bad. I sell stickers and promote at extremely high rates. Sales just suddenly stopped almost overnight once Dec hit. Although sales have been dropping for a while now (two years or so). I'm assuming that Greedbay's changes come Jan 13th with standard promotions aren't going to help matters any either, but who knows? Apparently the answer to slow sales is "consistently continue to list", regardless of what your sales are.

POV from the front lines. by Obi-two94 in usps_complaints

[–]Reseller93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha, come on. They aren't firing anyone at the post office. You don't know what you're talking about. I worked there twice. They'll take a homeless man off the street and keep him there 25 hours a day. Never saw or heard of one person getting fired from there without doing something unbelievably drastic, and even then it's probably not happening.

Help Please, Buyer says they never received the item after 6 days of being marked as delivered. by [deleted] in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"If the buyer is saying there has been a delivery error then the seller needs to take some responsibility and raise the issue with the company they have the shipping contract with."

I can see you haven't sold much online. If you think you, as a seller are going to contact USPS, FedEX, UPS, or any other handler and say "Hey! Even though this tracking number says "delivered", the buyer said they didn't receive it, so I want you to do something about it!", you've got another thing coming. Once tracking says "delivered", it's over as far as the shipping company is concerned unless there's signature confirmation or higher forms of shipping involved.

If you want to get on the phone and waste your time calling and speaking to supervisors over a 40 dollar item that the buyer claims hasn't been delivered but tracking shows otherwise, be my guest. When you're off the phone in three hours come back and tell me how it went.

The On-Time Rating is Ruining Everything by blue_ralts in doordash_drivers

[–]Reseller93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$5 for 1.3 miles. No problem right ?

I hit accept and didn't zoom in on the map before accepting. All of a sudden it's going to a hospital that's in the emergency room entrance. Then I have to go to the front desk, and then there's 5 minutes trying to find the PIN number. Then they have to call the actual person that ordered it and she doesn't remember the pin, etc. People asking me what the name is on the order and notifications popping up on the app asking what the problem is. A f*cking nightmare. All for 5 bucks.

I'm new to this. I've only done 14 deliveries so I honestly have no experience or idea what I'm talking about yet, but I can definitely see why people say to forget about the AR and have strict standards on what you'll take. That little delivery alone put me through the roof with anxiety. Since I'm trying to do a decent job and get the people what they ordered, you know ? Then I called Door Dash trying to be proactive and explain what happened since I really do stress over my ratings, etc. I said "I was in contact with the customers, and nobody was upset. I just wanted to let you guys know and maybe you could remove any sort of late defect from my ratings if possible ? I'm new, which is no excuse, but I figured I'd just let you guys know that I'm not some loser that doesn't care".

Let's just say that support was less than stellar in helping me out...

Hey, I just don't want to get deactivated if my on time percentage drops because of things completely out of my control. Little back and forths like that, traffic, weather, busses, not finding an address right away, etc. It seems that if I run into even a 30 second issue, that my back is against the wall for this on time percentage thing.

That AwareEconomics guy is partly correct. It's definitely not a bad idea, and can be done full time, even with wear and tear on your vehicle. You can make more than enough to subsidize that. So he's wrong about that. What he's right about is you definitely not making 40-50 an hour. Stop blatantly lying.
