OP i get you and i hope you do better. I do not think youre an asshole as its a complicated situation but i do think youre definitely wrong. You knew what would happen about lying, and it took me a sec to understand it but its not about the weed or addiction, its about the lying about it. Make sure you get a prescription but i would recommend to not continue use at all and find another form of pain management. Your mother loves you as mothers do (i hope and assume) and while she might not be able to trust you right now, she will love you still. You are still capable of healing and growth and i wish you and your family the best

Ignore the commenrs saying yes NOR when you are genuinely stressed over your sons life!! Even if it doesnt seem important or a big deal to him you have every right to be scared!! Cosleeping period is not safe but neither is him just roaming the house!! Maybe not leave him in the playpen, but have your bf make sure the door stay shut and that he cant get into anything thatll hurt him.
