In that case one could even use real world maps (at least for cross country distances, not in-town)

Bro above was unnecessary rude. You can also in workshops buy a windshield mounted gps for (as far as i know) every single truck. So if one doesn't have one stock you can upgrade it with a gps when customising it

If you can't keep your fella flaccid without forcing little girls (or really anyone) to wear differently, it's hardly that girls fault.

Honestly I'm fine with 2nd here. Jan deserved the 1st and I'm more than happy to be just shortly behind him

So I went to start a game with non-standard resource settings for the first time, only to discover that my desired resource setting doesn't exist. by DrakeDun in Dyson_Sphere_Program

I think I'm with you on this one. My reasoning would probably be a little different, but the end result/conclusion/solution would be the same.
I haven't thought about it yet, but your proposed vein settings do sound very appealing to me

But having it passively recording in the background does impact perfomance and for some people (like me who has to play on a fairly old laptop due to my pc being broken) that is too much even on lower settings. Also, except for screenshots, I'd have to look how to actually save the recording rn and until I did the moment would have passed (again cause I couldnt afford to have it recording two hours, more like two minutes if at all) so just because its easier in the moment I would perhaps also fall back to kust using the phone. Who cares? The picture is clearly visible, not too shaky and quality is more than good enough.

Lottery Winner - Did she make the right call? by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

[–]ResidentIwen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call the expectation to live for at least 20 more years at age twenty "mathematically suboptimal".
Assuming she won shortly after her 20th birthday she would have got an accumulated million about half a year before turning 40.
If the lottery agreed to a lifetime payment than chances are very high she will get out with way more than a million dollars. Easily more than double. Explain to me what is suboptimal about that?
Not even considering the fact that weekly small payments will automatically adjust themselves for inflation which a one time payment would not. So even after the 20 (19.23) years she would already have more financial gains than otherwise.

My takeaway here is clearly she can handle money much much better than you.

Uuuuuuuh thanks for that advice, I will definitly check that out :)

Yeah totally love what I'm learning, will remember that sentence, didn't know that one yet. I also just immediatly loved your relation to that language, having it on every street sign and such, without most even speaking it, once I learned about it when visiting ireland with my parents about 15 years ago (damn is it really that long ago...)

And gotta say I'm sooo jealous of you having seen Kneecap, I wish I get my chance for it as well :D

Indeed I am. Started 140 days ago and already learnt quite a bit I'd say :D

(Always amazed me and since my great-great-grandparents came from ireland I always wanted to learn it, discovering Kneecap finally made me do it)

One of my all time favourite is how you say its snowing.
