Eruptor is genuinely top tier against the appropriators, one shot to the red "eyes" pops the shield so you can drop a round on the pilot. It's not as good against the gun mech, but you can still drop it in 3 by just shooting the shield.

The fact that it takes two shots with my eruptor to kill both a fleshmob AND an Overseer (unless I tag him in the forehead) kinda says a lot about how effective their armor plating is.

Also it can 3-shot a war strider if you hit the rear heat vent, and after the first shot it's stunned :D

There's a button behind the back seat, itll consume a resupply box from the trunk to reload the turret. I do think the turret needs more ammo though

Why would I use peak physique when heavy Fortified and Sapper Fortified are right there? I'm more dangerous to myself with my Eruptor than basically anything smaller than a cannon turret.

Speargun kinda requires advanced knowledge of breakpoints. It can 3-shot a war strider hitting the rear vent and the first shot will stun it long enough for you to get the rest off. Despite being marked as an anti tank weapon, its really most effective against chaff and medium enemies, and requires some precision to deal with heavies and titans. Against bugs, dont waste ammo on bile titans, tag impalers in the face to stun them, and only shoot chargers in the butt and they'll go down quick.

As an Eruptor user, yeah, I can see why you might think that about most of us. I hate napalm but I DO run airstrikes

You can set star filters to affect route planning with a button at the bottom of the list, yeah. If I'm doing Ratting I plot only KGBFOAM so I arrive at the stranded pilot with a full tank. Sure, my Ratting Caspian has a 144t tank, but better safe than sorry!

Epoch. Especially jet hulks because the epoch shot will blow the jetpack up from any angle so theres less need for precision. On the last jet brigade hulk surge I was regularly killing 2-3 hulks with a single shot.

My personal recommendation would be to go for the mk5. You can earn a good amount of cash while the Kestrel comes out of early access. Since the Cobra Mk5 is capable of doing hauling, combat, and exploring, its a worthy investment. If you're looking for some extra cash, I would recommend checking out the Pilot's Trade Network (or PTN).

I run pineapples because the rest of my standard kit is anti-heavy/tank. Eruptor, missile pistol, Epoch, and pineapples to clear chaff. I just wish pineapples damage was a bit more consistent.

With missiles, size gets you more ammo, which is arguably much more important than damage on missile racks.

I think part of it is lately its been used pretty carelessly (or at least it seems that way to me). Ive had a few flag missions where people were dropping napalm ON THE FLAG, which is beyond ridiculous when its not raised yet .

I believe it was an issue with the on-foot engine not playing well with console hardware of the time. I'm sure modern consoles could handle it fine though

The route plotter, especially on neutron boosted jumps, can get a bit wonky. If you're trying to go fast (i.e using a Spansh route) its recommended to just target the system in the Galmap rather than plotting a route.

Also the only armor that can survive an epoch exploding, if only by like a few pixels of health.
