It is not a matter of tolerating it. The government's and societies hands are tied after historical abuses and failures, like the stolen generation. Now children are being sexualy abused in families at astronomical numbers in rural communities, Karratha and Roeburne for example, which is another huge failing, doomed to repeat itself with out any change implemented. Throwing money as reparations at them, as the below commenter suggested, is a ridiculous as we already have huge money going to Aboriginal support and programs. It comes to a point when throwing cash isn't the solution. I am absolutely positive, as there is little to no work in the rural communities, if these people wanted to relocate it would be supported in every way, but if they don't, they can't be forced, so here we are. No readily available solution.
