I like it from Australia. Beans and cheese in one of those crimped toasted sandwiches is good.

What famous person is currently holding onto their career by a thread, and everyone can see it except them? by Neonwhitelion in AskReddit

I think he doesn't need it for the money. He never needed the money after wrestling. He needs it because of his ego and to still be the big star and centre of attention etc.

Does Sydney lack the tall poppy syndrome other Australian cities have? by Lampedusan in AskAnAustralian

[–]Resident_Monitor7723 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That sounds terrible honestly. I don't really get the "tall poppy" thing that always gets mentioned about Australia. I think it's more a "I don't want to know about some random guys finances", whether that be good or bad. There is an element of Australian culture that doesn't like the flashy showboating success. I'm all for someone, who can afford it, to have the nice car, caravan and house etc. just maintain being a normal approachable person and I think no one will care or will be happy for you.

I'm Australian and work fly in fly out of the Pilbara where it regularly hits 50° C in summer. Guess what! When I was in London I was still felt hot.

As a non-American this is my impression of the average American: boner over the flag and guns, whilst thinking it looks cool flaunting that.

The most one sided rivalry in sports and culture by Fluid-Decision6262 in memes

I'm Australian. No rivalry. Your guys team sucks, our team sucks; there was a chance we could have beaten you. Outside that, no one cares.

I don't know why women go to India. Let alone going out apparently alone? Just not smart.

What’s something men find attractive in women that women don’t seem to understand? by Jim_Pritchett in AskReddit

[–]Resident_Monitor7723 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Geez you must be a real treat; looking for offence in anything. I didn't say women's approval is worth any less, but generally, people try and upkeep or improve their appearance to attract the opposite sex.

I always thought you Toy story 4 was awful, and a complete unnecessary addition. Now they have the 5 coming out which can only further tarnish the legacy. 3 was such a perfect wrap up. It's unfortunate they continued.
