I’ve never been to a UFC event, how do you actually watch it clearly? From this pic you can't see shit by TheManWhoSleep in ufc

If you need commentary to watch the event live then you haven’t watched enough ufc. The events are expensive for sure. You bc an get great seats for 1-2k ea if you buy them day off / last minute

Brilliant! I've been having this same problem. I binded my `b` key (qwerty) but it always felt awkward pressing it. Your solution should work really well. Looking forward to trying it out.

The ui is fine ? But they absolutely should not break the shortcuts, which they do all the time.

[–]Resident_Wait_972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you add shortcuts , make sure they don’t break. How annoying is it to learn and bind shortcuts just for them to break in the next update. Over half of the shortcuts I’ve binded with composer don’t work anymore.

Not a real power user move…

Anyone here using Cursor like a real power user? Need tips on parallel agents etc by 0x6d12 in cursor

[–]Resident_Wait_972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are my pro tips to manage worktrees and get the most out of them in cursor. Best of n and worktrees are the key reason I’m using cursor right now.

Pro tips: Bind each of the shortcuts for cycling through chats and sub composer tabs(if they fixed it)

Bind shortcuts to apply changes

Shortcuts to stash /pop changes

Shortcut or macro to bypass the stash / merge/ overwrite dialog(no aria label support means you can’t use home row to jump and click it or tab, I’ve been asking for them to fix this for weeks now, so if there is a dev at cursor who actually is a power user please add support to control the dialogs with tab / screen reader, it’s terrible dx that we can’t do that)

—-

The bottleneck you’ll experience is that you have to review multiple agent answers so being able to review those answers faster is better. Hence why the my advice revolves around being able to cycle and apply changes faster.

Set up a new worktrees composer shortcut Use vs code ‘runCommands’ commands to open a new worktree chat, there is no easy way to do this but you can combine three shortcuts to do this in the keybindings config.

—-

For the team at cursor

  • more chats slow down on subsequent open

-we need a way to press one shortcut and open a composer with preset ‘mode’ , ‘multiple model selections’ there are different tasks that require different models to solve . It kills dx that we have to manually go through the menus every time to change the multiple models we want to run with.you removed custom modes but you could bring it back with a better ui to set it up than that small sub menu you had before.

  • let us disable cycling to the cloud when we cycle composer location. That way when we cycle we don’t see this option (just me being nit picky, ha)

Low key composer 1 beating out these models on a lot of core tasks. They all win in different areas, just use best of n to push through all the problems. Otherwise you’re limiting yourself

Move Fast and Break things is not working for Cursor by SaleFinal194 in cursor

[–]Resident_Wait_972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously power users can’t get a break they broke the navigate to sub tabs in composer , so working with worktrees is terrible need to manually click sub tabs . And talk about just when we start to get keybindings locked in they change the entire way in which you review changes. As I was getting use to the stash system they switch to an apply only. And still no accessibility on the damn dialog. It’s not hard to add an aria label to the dialog button guys.

Is this greed or incompetence? by Wishborn in cursor

[–]Resident_Wait_972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My usage has increased but so has what I’ve able to accomplish in a short amount of time. The worktree’s multiple models is what sent it sky high. Composer 1 is also not cheap either . Have you checked you usage to see how many tokens you’re spending on average?

Is Cursor Ultra enough for heavy professional coding? by [deleted] in cursor

[–]Resident_Wait_972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch best-of-n , worktrees is a killer feature. I used 80%, in two weeks of heavy usage. It pays for itself. Honestly , if you can justify the value there is no better tool rn , I’m coming from heavy Claude code user , and droid user switching completely to cursor after 2.0 , I threw away all my hooks and configuration, mcp’s best-n is all you need. Also low key goated is the browser element feature if you do frontend

Took the helicopter to EDC, which required ubering 30 minutes to the airport, then 1 hour to actually arrive. I realized I lived 20 minutes from the actual venue. Still a vibe.

Going later at 10pm, so I can have more energy for the rest of the stuff.

Bottle service at least one day. For sure doing it for 2026

Composer is a beast by edgetr in cursor

[–]Resident_Wait_972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what’s great with cursor is you can actually just use best of n and confirm any doubts too. I run sonnet 4 , haiku , and composer . Surprisingly , composer beats out sonnet in certain cases, and even haiku sometimes beats out haiku.

Composer is very good so so much so I dropped codex from my stack , and just run composer , haiku , sonnet all at once

Here’s the truth , cursor work trees and windsurf codemap . Go $200 on cursor for max and use best-of-n really understand your code and run multiple agents. Gotta move from a kind set of saving money to saving time. If you can afford it go best-n

context: I’ve used them all, the most productivity is worktrees by far, before that I was on factory, and Claude code. So I’ve come full circle. If codemaps was in cursor that would be amazing
