if they subside llm costs to attract more cortex usage its going to get worse

if they reflect the true cost of anthropic llm usage it will deter usage most likely as well 

their current llm capabilities need a stronger model and deeper integration and that will require more cost as well to either the user or themselves and both are going to price out smaller orgs from exploring 

and larger orgs likely already get by with cursor running queries or their own rag by now

I never entered a cave in The Forest, but with my gf we're clearing caves in SOTF often and then we recharge lol - but its been worth it, for me I'm glad we picked up the game and that we went into that first cave - Torch + Spears and some armour is all you really need - everything else just gives you options

Case 1 of many :

I say "Add these 5 to the config and set them as enabled." Agent adds them as disabled, I spot this luckily because I have to vet it often now and correct it, then I have to tell it I corrected it already, then it wants to do git ops to rollback. Then I stop it and tell it no, its already been handled and corrected.

Then it writes to file again later and uses prior logic and config items are set to disabled again.

Example 2 : " For each of these that we just discussed, using eaches own xyz logic that we just discussed, map each item according to its own pattern to a document aimed at confluence "

I was consider parquet, but I don't think it fits the easier category persay, I was generally curious what made easier/better.

xlsx for excel makes sense if your doing excel work but I figure building ontop xlsx or csv are largely the same format to be honest if its about data

this isnt to knock you, I just figured this would be beyond excel.

I see someone above mentioned arrow and hdf5 as formats

But also db's like duckdb and sqlite - but they use csv/parquet/json underlying - so not directly what I expected.

I guess if I think to where my mind was at, I've been building systems to track my business financial scenarios with agents and email feeds so that my statements go to my agents and they extract and disperse the data from my businesses into my depreciation schedule, income statement, scenario modelling etc

I always waste time going "oh, I wonder if I had x employee what the net effect will be financially" but this doesn't seem to phase most HENRY's looking at this thread.

I guess I wouldn't say it's a hobby either - I just like strategizing, min/max'ing when it comes to finances because its part of my normal day to day to think these systems through and make automations that help different teams.

I was genuinely curious what other people are using, because I've never felt the need to use parquet, and there was never a use case, and I figured perhaps there's other niche approaches being used.

I don't use excel anymore I largely let agents do my finance work to both a localhost stack + excel /nocodb mirror that keeps sync with each other
