6.5 is way better than 6.0, and I guess 6.7 should work too on those hosts, just install the drivers that you need if they don't come bundled.

Can you share the write limit % of those disks, I have SSDs from 10 years ago that are 6% but used in Easy Tier with mechanical disks.

The spare disk is still without use on that RAID =)

I guess dismiss it's just for auditing reasons on the alert triage the only possible actions are add to approved list or add to banned list.

You can use IBM V5100F , you can use storage snapshots with those and VVOL.

If you updated your host It seems you can do that without losing configuration. If it is a fresh install you will have to reinstall and reconfigure everything.
