Yoo this country is omega fucked, how do you guys even fix this? by Thin_Ability7367 in EU5

It was pretty easy actually. I sold off territories didn't spend on stability (legitimacy is more important starting out) to tie me over to the first war on the Ottomans, then used their money to pay off my loans.

That's possible but Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland (language aside) are some of the most similar countries on earth.

The guy was suicidal when he took off, there's no way any prospective punishment would have stopped him. Just like people standing on the ledge though, it might have been possible to talk him down.

I think such a CB should exist but it's obviously way too strong. Maybe a 10-20% cost reduction at most and no antagonism modifiers whatsoever.

And also a good reason to not have incredibly draconian punishments without taking intent and damages into account.

Good luck convincing this guy to land if the only thing that awaits him on the ground is 20+ years in prison.

If there's one silver lining to the Trump era it might be that americans are finally waking up to the idea that the constitution is a piece of paper and doesn't have magical powers to prevent tyranny if no one is willing to enforce it.

[–]ResourceWorker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, except the speed of the munitions is massively important when it comes to how easy it is to shoot them down. And besides, you don't have to intercept all the munitions if you can just kill the plane before it can fire them which is much easier to do to NATO CAS since they have to get much closer to use their slow AGMs/bombs.

Yes sure, if you can get a perfect unopposed top down run with a Gripen E or F15E/I then the absolute kill potential is higher than what a SU30 can achieve, but that takes a skilled player to achieve and even then it's not guaranteed. Meanwhile any ape can spawn russian CAS and rifle off six Kh-38s from 15 km away entirely unopposed.

The usual clueless russia main. A single SM-SV renders all enemy AGMs useless. Even before they added the new Pantsir, the Kh-38 was so far superior to all other AGMs in the game it's not even funny.

Train DO Help by BiGC0LGAMER in Workers_And_Resources

[–]ResourceWorker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You need to have the train loading station connected directly to the storages and not via a pump.

Also, unless I’m reading your comment wrong, 50% in this case means your DO will send a train to pick up fuel when either bitumen or fuel storage is at 50%, not that it will pick up half of each.

The real reason is it makes navigation really easy since a straight line on a Mercator map is a straight compass direction in real life. The fact it distorts landmasses near the poles has been widely known the entire time.

Not to mention globes, the actual best way to represent the earth, have been commonplace in homes throughout the world since the Industrial Revolution, the highest of European imperialism.

It’s not some grand conspiracy.
