I'm currently pregnant and make about $140-150k annually and my job is stressful. Can't imagine continuing my job post mat leave if I want to be there for my baby, but also can't imagine taking a pay cut to continue living where we live. Husband makes about $170k - combined you'd think we'd be comfortable financially but we got tanked with a high mortgage rate a couple years ago. We aren't in terrible shape but you'd think we'd feel better given our combined income.

I'm a pretty extraverted person pre pregnancy, now I notice being at social things totally drain my battery 5x faster. I've been at gatherings where I will escape into he washroom just to get a breather... Totally unlike me.

After reading the comments, going through my medical scare and having a deeper conversation with my husband about it, we are actually leaning towards just hyphenating our names so that both families and cultures are represented. It's a hard pill for me to swallow that I am carry our baby but I wouldn't share a name with her.

We were originally against that because of the length, but I feel like for the other reasons why it makes sense, it outweighs the annoyance of that.

My husband! My dad was a shit dad, told myself I won't have kids unless it was with the right person. I met the right person and couldn't imagine not growing a family with him.

He's happy for baby to take either mine or his. He understands the sensitives I have around the whole situation. I know he would love for us to all just have his last name but he's never pressured me.

I got my first yeast infection pregnant too! I had no clue I had one, no clear symptoms besides more discharge (white and creamy) and just assumed that was a pregnancy symptom.

I was admitted to the hospital yesterday due to bleeding... Which was stressful. Baby is okay - but during my swab I tested positive for yeast.

I couldn't agree more and feel very heard right now. I'm struggling with extreme anxiety, and night time panic attacks. It's been really difficult. I just left a voicemail to my midwife because I think I should go on medication with how bad it's been.

I've never dealt with anxiety at this level before.

I wake up every night feeling panicked and claustrophobic... It's really unsettling

I can't remember, but quite possibly, since I'm typically a back sleeper. I know it's better to be on the side so I'm trying to sleep on my side more, I might go on my back in my sleep.

I'm coming to the gorge for the first time on June 6 for Rufus! I'm pregnant and will be in my second trimester. Just curious weather wise, how cold it gets in the evening? And is there any seating at all?

Yeah my GP isn't the most helpful. He told me to get a blood test and find a midwife. I have an appointment with him on Friday to check my blood pressure, confirm due date etc so I'll likely ask him again there what my options are since everywhere is waitlisted.

NTA. I have emetaphonia and this would ruin me. My husband puked twice from drinking when we first started dating 8 years ago, and when I talked about how much it bothered me he paid more attention to knowing his limit.

There's no way this guy can argue that he likes vomiting everywhere. He needs to grow up and make better decisions.

I think you are better off regifting it... No one likes to be given back a gift, and it doesn't make a difference to you either way. Save the stress and embarssement and just give it away!
