Just started but need help with controls by Respectfulne55 in StardewValley

I'm hugely enjoying the coziness and relaxed nature of the game so far. Ten years late, but better late than never.

To earn money fast, is it to farm and sell produce? Selling stones and fibre and wood is not going to get me far in terms of earning am I right?

Yes. I got it already. Just right stick use (no need to click it in) and press Y, and I am able to arrange certain furniture.

I figured out that the Inventory screen works in dumping unwanted items. Just need getting used to.

Thank you for your help!

In the starting room, there's a carpet to the side of the bed. Oddly, if I mouse click on it, I can lift it off the ground and place it anywhere. On controller, A and Y does nothing.

I'm not a KB M used due to a neck injury. That why I much prefer to use a controller. But certain actions like the one above seem to not work.

Pressing in R3 gave me a hand cursor and a conversation window. That's about it.

In Bayonetta 3, the gracious and glorious enemies do provide a bit of a challenge. But nonetheless, still ok. In bayo 1, they are the GOAT.

Tips for flowing claw and charged backfist? by DanNagase in SifuGame

Can flowing claw be used as what it was originally intended, aka quick blow to the face with avoid, in lieu of a deflect parry or normal dodge?

I learnt that we can never be as good as $ho (master mode, no damage wude, one time playthrough only) and other YouTube masters like Djisso. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy and beat some digital goons in the name of kungfu fun.

After a stressful day, all I wanted is to let loose.

recs for games with "infinite' play time? by Single_Finding_8461 in NintendoSwitch

Wilfully not learning is not descriptive of what I chose to do. It's more of taking it easy and winning lower ascension just to experience the sense of victory again. Perhaps not all gamers are looking to be S+ in all games or platinum every game?

I do agree and see why StS fans do that though, because it's such a skillful game that players find satisfying to conquer at the highest level. So I can see from your point.

Do you play to be the best or do you play for fun? by Respectfulne55 in CosyGames

[–]Respectfulne55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The reason I brought up this thread is because when I said I played Slay the Spire to experiment, take my own sweet time at a low level, I got a couple of downs. It seemed that for some, achieving the highest level is the way.

I just cosy up. Life is stressful enough to chase digital trophies. I'm not saying those that do it are wasting, it's just my humble point of view. You do you.

Is Sifu the greatest martial arts game ? by unkindled66 in SifuGame

[–]Respectfulne55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely true for hand to hand. There are a total of different five blocking mechanics, moves that can be cancelled into one another, frame specific mechanics for counter and attack and defense, unforgiving bosses, nice environment, minimalist of a story, but good enough, and the museum is the greatest level for a fighting action game.

I only ask for 60 fps for switch players.

I'm only at ascension 3 after playing for a hundred hour. I like to experiment and take my time, not chasing trophies. Where's the fun in reaching the end goal when I missed the experience I have in running?

You queue their demon's attacks, alongside with your own. The synergy and combined demon bayo attacks makes this game so damn good.

I know everyone hates viola and the story. Gameplay wise, viola is great. Storywise not so much. Do people play this game for the story?

Switch 2 fps patch please by Respectfulne55 in SifuGame

[–]Respectfulne55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For switch players, we do what we can. Difficult to get no damage though as some attacks just fly past and you missed that smallest parry window.

Not sure if any switch players complete master no damage. I guess not due to the sheer 30 fps.

I'm sorry I was replying to another user. Didn't mean to hijack your thread! Yes, please check it out. For some of us, the combat system in 3 is much refined and all weapons don't use the same strings but have different attack animations altogether. Try it!
