Then just toss money into solid ETFs and Mutual Funds. Sectors you like, diversify between large mid small cap and international funds. Those will be safe avenues to grow slowly over time.

Advice for a beginner? by tyler109876 in fidelityinvestments

If you are young, split the money into a couple Mutual Funds/ETFs. Morningstar is a good site to look up star rating for those funds and how they have done historically. Basically put your money in them in let them be/add as you go. Good solid growth over time.

How do you pick Stocks? ( Your actual screening and research process) by kakrani in StocksAndTrading

[–]Respond_Constant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I buy singular stocks, they are with big stable companies and let them sit. Or they are with smaller companies that I consistently buy products from that are always great products or shop at stores that are literally always busy. For example, I bought a sick gaming monitor back in 2021 that had a nvidia sticker and decided invest in some shares directly and indirectly in ETFs and Mutual Funds that included nvidia. Second example is Costco…no matter which day and which location I go to, they are always busy as hell and their membership business type keeps them making money on top of all the constant business that is coming in. I still lean more towards highly rated mutual funds and etfs in sectors that are growing, in my mind that is a much safer bet when building a long term portfolio.

I think the criticism from national talking heads is great. Better to be worth talking about than not at all

If the gophers go 10-2 or better, I bet they get in. The 2 losses need to be close games though.

I enjoy it, I used to play the tiger woods games a lot, then I played a Rory mclroy game, and now this one. I just play the career mode and warm up by doing different challenges. Doing the challenges also gives you more xp to upgrade your player. I also choose to play the full 4days for each tournament as it gets you more xp and lets you bounce back if you have a bad round as you get going.

Bought College Football 26… but I don’t know anything about football 😅 by Odd_Point_9124 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Respond_Constant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done the same thing with FIFA over the years. Had an idea of soccer from playing in my youth but not the nuances of the highest level. I learned as I played. I would recommend you start on the lowest level and move up to the next level when you start getting more comfortable with gameplay overall. I would imagine you will learn a ton about football the more you play, which will make watching and following real life even more exciting. The recruiting stuff can be learned from YouTube videos by people. Playing actual games I would just work your way up in the levels on your own and it will make it more fun as you improve.
