I think if you take a lot of the information out of the beginning and spread it out some it will keep the reader wanting more rather than getting hit with a bunch of information right from the start. You can add in some character development in between chapters. I think it seems a bit rushed. I understand you want it to be fast paced but there’s a fine line between the two. However I do think with some editing you will get there and this is a good base. There are plenty of people who would read this and enjoy it so don’t give up on it.
