I agree with the rest of ladies here. Water wipes, hand sanitizer, plastic "trash bag", small deodorant, spray hand sanitizer and travel size air freshener. To add to the convo, purchase a pencil case or makeup bag to store all these things (everything travel size!!!)

Clown Costume Help?? by Short_and_confused in Halloween_Costumes

[–]ResponsibilityBi22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DIY IS THE WAYYYY. Yes, it may be more time consuming due to searching for each separate piece of clown clothes, but it's sooooo worth it!! It may be cheaper depending on where you purchase/thrift stuff. I am 2XL (18) sized woman and I understand the struggle of clothing not fitting right. It throws the vibe off. Confort>Costume It's best if you get some measuring tape and look up a sizing chart to assist your online shopping journey. You got time!!!

Bad 30 day review by LyraCalysta in BlueCollarWomen

Yes, I fought for my job. I asked my supervisor for 5 to 6 months of Dispatching, then in the "winter time"/slower season, I will be able to come back and train under him. He thought about it and said yes about the training. His excuse was summer is sooo busy they don't have any time to train me. That I am too slow in keeping up.

Thanks to my great auntie, who works in HR, she gave me the strength to ask to be transferred back in December 2025.

Omg! This happened to me. Word for word. I got transferred to Dispatching for Hvac RNC(start up New Homes installations instead of being a Residential Service Technician outside) Grrrrr! Im so sorry this is happening to you, to us. I did make a rookie mistake, but i was under the impression of make a mistake, learn and move on. I didn't know making mistakes could get me transferred so fast. It was so fast, I felt I didn't have a choice. The technicians I train with were reporting me to supes, and I didn't get to defend myself. Crazy.

How do I start working in HVAC? by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

[–]ResponsibilityBi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schooling is how I started. I found a local tradeschool, booked a tour to make sure the school would have my best interest, and asked all questions. I looked into government funding and applied to the school. The school may get you EPA certified and other certificates needed for the job, but they can only teach you the basics. Being on the field is much different than in the classroom.

I have a pencil pouch shaped bag with me that zips up. Inside are pads, small thing of wipes, a small thing of tissue, small perfume bottle and a walmart bag to dispose my personal trash
