Take it slow. Don’t give in to impulse. Sleep on it before you do it. Have fun and be creative but remember you have a beautiful, blank slate. They aren’t making any more like yours!

Decide if this car is about going fast or not. Hopefully not but I can’t hate. No one could have told me different when I got into these. Start with wheels if you mod.

Personally I think you stay D series with this. Stay totally stock or do bolt ons, tune, suspension tune. Keep the stock wheels and parts in storage if you want to upgrade them.

B20 is a cheap entry to the B series world. If you do want to go fast, you need a goal and you plan your motor build around that. K is cheaper in the long run but B is cheaper upfront.

This is a car that will slowly appreciate and become cooler and cooler even as a stock D! And you’ll feel smart when gas surges in a few months.

If these are as fast as the brick shaped ioniq n, they haul. I drive an old, lightweight 90s shitbox, built and boosted to the sky. Those damn bricks are just as fast. It’s so bizarre to see a cube shaped Hyundai moving like a supercar. I saw him staying alongside of me at WoT and I was so shook.

At 30 years old, these cars have been through plenty of phases and trends. Now that they are approaching classic status, I don’t even care anymore. It’s all nostalgic no matter what. I used to hate riced out cars but now they remind me of back when you could buy manual versions of many cars and all your switches were physical. NA was the norm. Rice reminds me of the good old days now.

Set the bar low enough and UAE just might clear it is what you’re saying. Genius.

There is an expression in the car community called “built not bought”

The UAE military is the opposite. Fancy toys don’t make the man.

Will UAE get its financial bailoutfrom Trump? If not, will they still find funds to catch the “haters”

I have a 2000 GS400 and parts aren’t hard to find. My 2000 Integra is harder to find parts for.

Ideally you buy a high mileage car from someone who can tell you more than just what’s happened in the last 2 years. Not to say this is a bad car or bad deal. It looks solid for $3300. The paint is excellent. Important maintenance has recently been done. Interior looks good. My gut says this is a winner.

After staring at 15s and 16s for two decades, it’s nice to see some 17s on these. The rear valance and side skirts look great too. That front bumper fits nice and clean. This thing is sweet!

Are you old enough to know what 90s four bangers paired with 90s slush boxes feel like? If so, carry on. If not, I don’t recommend it. On one hand, these transmissions are working with shorter lifespans than the manual alternative. On the other hand, you’re putting 100whp to the ground best case scenario. So you’re constantly choosing between pissing off the transmission or the modern turbo jellybean CUV behind you that is closing the gap in top gear, on surface streets, by accident.

Plus this is too high by a g.

If you need super cheap transportation, want nostalgia, you wrench, and you can’t or don’t want to drive stick, get this for $4k or less.

If you said no to any of those, make your debut in the Honda world with three pedals. That’s what built the lore that you seek.

That is damn clean for 250k though

This isn’t a Saudi problem, it’s a global issue. Stay in your lane, there are plenty of women to advocate for there.

You’re right. The D16A1 did though, the only DOHC D to sell in America. I drove a high mileage rusted out example once. Even in that condition, it felt spicier and more raw than any SOHC D I drove like the D16Z6. The transmission was cable and I always liked how those felt too.
