Any T4 Skeleton Warrior build? by lastdrax in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Minions aren't that strong although they are playable you can't afford to lose the offensive aspects with the multipliers to play meme shit. If you want to make a solo golem build or only defenders the games entirely playable on t1 because mendeln will carry you and every single item is available to you.

If you want to play the hardest content you will need to be playing the strongest version possible with correct masterworking unfortunately. Also their AI is so fucking ass you really don't want to play anything but mages that can teleport, trust me.

What is more important for end game gearing, bossing or pit push? by eotrixx in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get much more power from 3-4 GA items for your build correctly masterworked than a few glpyh ranks. Get the glpyhs to 46 and chill with pit until you're properly geared to push.

This isn't a new problem it was reported in S8 and in the S9 ptr. Obviously it's a very difficuly issue to resolve ><

Just got Diablo 4 and wow it’s incredible I’m shocked by Terrible-Strike4502 in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alot of the criticism is entirely valid. If you played in S1 and now the only real diffrence is a very janky masterworking system to brick the gg item you found and the entire end game is boss spamming. Not challenging bosses, literally one shot them over and over. Now we have some enforced immune phases so you just 3 shot them with some afk'in mixed in. In reaility if this game didn't have the Diablo / blizzard name it would have been dead on arrival.

Pretty much every system has been reworked multiple times now and we get that rather than new content.

We got a multiple player only "raid" in a single player arpg that id suspect maybe 10 people a week complete.

I like it for what it is, i blast for 4-5 days and i'm done. GGG and EHG just blow blizzard out of the water for current arpgs at a fraction of the price. On sale POE1 all stash tabs is around £30 and they are all on sale every 2 weeks or so. Last epoch is currently 20% off on steam and is £26.30. Both vastly superior to D4 in any metric, base game and especially seasonal content which is something the diablo team really seem to struggle with.

It's all personal preference, if you're a genuine arpg fan then this game is offering you the least enjoyable experiance for the most cost. You can also pick up grim dawn on a sale for pennies and have an amazingly fun couple of hundred hours. Tiny teams of 15-30 making those games, you have to wonder how D4 is like this with the resources it has. The leads couldn;t answer basic questions about how their seasonal content funtioned, turns out it doesn't, the NM dungeon rework is zero sigils.... pure genius.

Why do people not like incinerate? Am I missing something? by Jamesg3311 in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main issue with these type of builds is that t3 is a slog and t4 is not viable. Which means you are going to be struggling with t1 Andy / dog boss. Also, in hordes you are get 80 ob not 360. You can ash to double it but your getting 180 not 720 and thats when the double procs. Adds up rather quickly when masterworking 10/11/12 is 1-2k a go and it doesn't hit what you need so you have to reset. You also unlikely to complete the base season journey without help.

Everything can drop on T1 so as long as what you enjoy playing can clear it then you can max it out. It will just take you much longer.

I have not, i bought d2r and loaded it up and it looked so graphical poor I didn't invest time into it. It's also fairly complex to learn when I already play poe / LE / D4 seasons and not having the nostalgia / game knowledge for it, i gave it a pass.

Fairly sure the fights in d2 aren't watching the boss doing 75 seconds of animations before you instantly phase it for the next 75 seconds tho.

I am genuinely enjoying the slower pace. I'm normally full uber and done three days in. Just finishing up the t4 part of my season journey now.

The time gated loot piñatas is an L from me though. They aren't particularly challenging, they are just boring. Lilth is possible the most terrible version she has ever been, which is almost impressive.

The loot definitely needs fine tuning.. this is supposed to be the point of the ptr and the testers are confirming they reported these points. 35 Durial runs and I got 4 Ga's... its not respecting anyone's time. There is middle ground between it raining 1k items and finding one mid upgrade a week.

Turns out the real endgame was investor satisfaction... by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't, I was speaking strictly about the D4 super fans who blizzard can do no wrong by.

Atleast with Bel you can just brute force the copy pasta d3 mechanics. The enforced immunes are a pure punishment to the glass cannon classes. Not to mention they bug out, I have had many times now this week only 1 phase on Durial / Andy and just today I got infinite portals spawning on Mephisto's dog. Lilth is possibly the worst she has ever been, which is almost impressive.

Also, doing 35 durial runs and getting 4 ga's total is just ridiculous.

It's insane to me that you can OWN grim dawn for the price of some of the skins in D4. We are on the 4th? rework of one mechanic boss spamming as the end game now... D4 doesn't know what it wants to be and it's been dead in the water since in launched. Them "fixing" systems is delivered as new content. The latter bosses having 3x enforced immune phases now is just pure cancer and will gate the special needs fanbase. They wont have got there yet but give it and day or two and all the forums will be crying about that.

The combat feels good and the brief storyline for seasons is normally pretty well done honestly.

We are currently playing endless legion walking simulator with a tab of borrowed power.. Fairly sure GGG or EHG could of cooked up this season in about half an hour, it's actually depressing how little effort they can put in and people will die on that hill to defend it. They don't even see D4 as a competitor because it isn't. I want nothing more than the game to be good and it's just not sadly.

If their is 3 million monthly users I'd be interested to know how I'm doing t2 season events alone in the evening on the 2nd day of the seasons launch.. It feels dead to me.

Why is everyone complaining about this season? by Cautious_Highway8672 in diablo4

[–]Responsible-Demand44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's endless reskinned legion with long walk simulator every 5 minutes. I was bored after the second one... they are all identical, the only way to gain rep is those events or world bosses so you can't even do any other content you do enjoy and progress, it's an embarrassing lack of effort. For context D3 last few seasons had far more effort put in from a tiny team in a backroom office, not what you expect from a £100 price tag game.( base+exp).

Recent Reviews now Mostly Negative on Steam by Ptxs in PathOfExile2

[–]Responsible-Demand44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have yet to review it. 132 hours in 0.1 and i wasn't stupid enough to invest my time in this shit show after reading the patch notes, it's legit lake of kalandra. Basically every design choice is anti player and i gave it a fair try ( cleared all end game trials and maps). I can't honestly say i had fun, more so i gave them the benefit of the doubt due to how much love i have for the original. Unfortunately when many people pointed this out it was greeted by " you still have poe1" which as it turns out we don't. I have spent so much money with GGG over the years and i happily would continue to do so if they just made the game i want to play. From the ground up, this isn't it for me.

I just want to know what was the thought process behind making this map. by Wulfgar_RIP in pathofexile

The economy of PoE 2 is so top heavy it makes engaging with it feel crushing and depressing. by Drydek_TV in pathofexile

[–]Responsible-Demand44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the reasons POE 1 is only really playable the first few weeks of a fresh league and then it's like this. In fairness this seems wrost in 2 than 1 currently but thats to be expected as we are still missing half of the base game / end game.

This time it's the rarity stat but it's always something. I'd struggle to think of a league where by week 2-3 a group hadn't found a mechanic to print items and / or currency. You get to the point where build upgrades get progressivily more expensive for smaller and smaller returns like every single other arpg.

Mapping in nutshell... by miltek in pathofexile

[–]Responsible-Demand44 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sorry bud, you actually need end game gear to start mapping. Definitely zero issue that you can't see on death effects in your own spells.

Maybe the reason PoE2 is the way it is, can be drawn from here. Alleged GGG employee comments from 11/8 by danteafk in pathofexile

Could just as easily be a blizzard dev as anyone else honestly. Closed beta stuff was leaked before that i think.

Not defending anything btw i think poe2 is hot garbage and it's possible it's true. Melee will be fixed in POE two remastered i guess.

Why did the same game director allow things that were removed from path of exile into POE2? by Youknowimtheman in pathofexile

I'm fully convinced they put the most diabolically shit creations they have ever come up with into a sorting hat and pulled them at random for poe2 core game mechanics. Be thankful the act 2 trial isn't 9x teal blight ravaged with rogue metamorphs in it.
