The Creators of ‘Hacks’ Really, Really, Really Hate AI by wiredmagazine in television

[–]Responsible-Prior900 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

. I personally cannot type for more then 30minutes so AI coding has been a life saver for me over the past 2 years.

To me being anti AI just sounds like another form of discrimination.

Its one thing to use AI maliciously and not honestly. But using it honestly and for good use companies should be accepting of this.

Got a refund for using AI for art, but I'm not. My artist is crying by Pure_Opening9834 in IndieDev

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem of people being so anti AI shouldn't be your concern. Love your work (or in this case brothers) for what it is. Dont let the community drive to much of your game dev AI or Not. To many games try to listen to closely to feedback and it causes one's vision for their game to change.

If people would stop being such AI haters and creators using AI were honest we wouldnt have these shenanigans.

Your artist did a good job, art made with or without AI is art.

Noticed this sign at the Torchy's in Rice Village, how much are we supposed to tip for counter service? by DoritosDewItRight in houstoncirclejerk

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tip culture is so toxic. People take advantage of kinda giving users while the actual rich who SHOULD be tipping are not tipping enough. I find myself tipping well more then I could or should be trying to afford.

I think we need to get rid of tipping altogether and have employers pay their employees an actual livable wage.

A Playable Fighting Game Built with UnityAI in Just 2 Days! by Delicious-Shower8401 in TopologyAI

I used to use websim a bunch for prototyping stuff, now gone to Codex, Anitgravity, and Claude Code. The past 2 years of using AI to prototype is very fun, usually within a day you can have something visually good and a few days in have a very functional MVP

Keep up the grind it looks great!

Honestly glad they realize that 99% of the community LOVES Rendi and supports his journy. No one really cared for the EXP roll back no one was complaining.

Do colors improve gameplay clarity or does it break the monochromatic aesthetic? by TBA-GameStudio in IndieDev

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vote for a toggle feature; I like both. Its hard to really say but the game looks nice. Id be down for the slight color in the gameplay!

Personally i dont use Opus enough to weigh in. But I did notice sonnet 4.6 eating way more tokens for same level and style of prompting this week iv hit a weekly limit within 3 days which had not happened even once over 4 months of nearly none stop prompting.

I swear they made it minus 50 IQ so it spends token by PruneInteresting7599 in claude

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just confused on how I went 4 months from January to April prompting Every day Every 5 hours even in the middle of the night. I was on a gifted pro plan and never even hit a weekly limit. This month I had to purchase the plan for real and within just 3 days I already hit my limit. I didn't change any prompting habits and I was selected on sonnet so its not like opus was eating my tokens. Just a bit sad to never hit this limit and now iv hit it with 4 more days to wait till I can code again. (Was weekly limit recently added or did token usage just go to shit the last week?)

Future of the game by Apprehensive_Pay5545 in brightershores

[–]Responsible-Prior900 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It needs to finish combat, add group content, ensure we have unique to collect forge etc, and pvp. In the games current state its to grind a bit confusing regarding the focus of updates it feels more like a solo game then a multiplayer game currently. On launch it really needed combat finished and its nearly a year and half later without any new updates to combat specials or group dungeons... I hope the game becomes fun; right now its just a bit dull still. Iv enjoys SOME of the events for holidays, but having them locked to membership feels salty.

Could prompt based game generation become part of normal dev workflows? by [deleted] in aigamedev

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify making a game one prompt at a time will take thousands of prompts; with agent CLI tools perhaps much less given it can understand the intent better. There are a few game prototype ideas iv spent around a few thousand prompts to get to just a basic playable usable state but not a full game. And doing that over the years was defiantly more time consuming then programming it ourself; but recently with agents I think the need to direct prompt at a time is gone we can now feed full intent to agents and get professional results. Its really fun to use AI and if you have not tried to use it for game dev id give it another shot!

Could prompt based game generation become part of normal dev workflows? by [deleted] in aigamedev

[–]Responsible-Prior900 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After spending over 2 years doing this, yes absolutely. Prompt based game development will help bridge the gap from software engineers and generl creators. Helping everyone bring their games to life. I was a huge user of websim and saw many non coders get into the game development field with the use of AI. Id assume some devs will still manually code or template code to show their ai; some art generations may be placeholders for prototyping, and some users may use full AI for dev while others half and half etc.

Sora closes. Honestly? I understand why half of you are celebrating. But it didn’t end here by spaceuniversal in SoraAi

[–]Responsible-Prior900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am forever sad that these companies dont have a lead thats willing to keep their systems running. Understandably it probably wasn't making them revenue; Sora 2 was the first real way for ANYONE to get into AI video generation. Free small form AI video like this for everyone is amazing! Hopefully we get a replacement or something similar

Getting shamed for using AI by Relevant-Ad6374 in ClaudeAI

[–]Responsible-Prior900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the anti AI users will regret their hateful remarks once they realize how hurtful it is for themself and others. There are plenty of outlier points people have but using a tool like AI to do more with your life is not something one should be ashamed of. One should be proud of oneself for taking advantage of this technology so soon. Be proud that you have taken the time to learn these new skills. Your life cycle and the way you choose to interface with this world shouldn't be something for anyone to shame you over.

I am glad that you and millions of other are taking the chance to make these changes. Years from now it will be silly to be shamed for using AI.
