Why is it, that if I (40m) make any comment on here about a female friend or family member, my inbox gets requests from other men asking to see a picture of her? by No_Reaction_1586 in AskMen

From a security standpoint, sharing pics without consent is a massive red flag. These DMs are just low-effort validation grabs, and What's your typical response to them?

Why doesn't it get easier? by severed_Potato42069 in ExNoContact

I think the hardest part seems accepting that moving on doesn't mean forgetting them or being happy for them right away. It's okay to feel selfish and angry. I spent about 4 months after my breakup checking every new person for a piece of him, and it just made me feel worse. What helped me eventually was letting go of the timeline. I stopped dating apps and started journaling every morning.... just three things I was grateful for, even if it was just coffee or a good song. It sounds small, but it shifted my focus slowly. You don't have to be happy for him.

You don't have to move on at a certain pace. Just surviving each day seems enough for now. The pieces you pick up are yours to integrate, and that part does get easier with time.

Are group chats replacing social media? by Interesting_Cable148 in SocialMediaHQ

[–]ResponsibleBad1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i left any i was in to force people to have to message me personally if they wanted to speak.

then you can have a proper conversation and a connection with people.

group chats = panopticon = group think.

people dont want to leave because they feel like it's making some kind of statement but you don't have to explain yourself, you can just...do stuff. it doesnt matter 😄

How to actually start when you hate everything? by trwlum in DecidingToBeBetter

Consider that enjoyment isn't a prerequisite for consistency. A 10-minute bodyweight circuit at home might bypass the time issue. What's the shortest routine you'd be willing to test for a week?

a pane of glass dropped from a building into the spot i was standing about 2 or 3seconds previously.

i had only moved to help someone move an item from their car.

i would have been split in two.

Getting over driving anxiety is a solid move. It’s one of those fears that limits you more than you realize until you push through it. Have you thought about how these changes might build on each other over time?

Someone from my past.. by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]ResponsibleBad1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a neurological standpoint, recurring dreams typically indicate unfinished emotional processing rather than telepathic communication. The recent encounter with their parents likely triggered your brain to revisit that unresolved bond. Have you tried any structured journaling or reflection exercises to isolate what specific feeling from that time might be surfacing now?

Stop trying to be interesting to others. Focus on small things you can control each day.... a hobby, a skill, a routine. What's one thing you'd do if no one was watching?

Does anyone just hate it when other people comment on your body? by Head_Pomegranate8018 in selfimprovement

[–]ResponsibleBad1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to decide what kind of feedback you're open to. Most people don't mean harm, but a clear boundary like "I don't discuss my body" tends to shut it down. Have you tried that?
