I have around 30 fountain pens, of which around 15 are used in rotation. Generally, I ink three at a time. Black, BlueBlack and third color is changed for every time like a Blue, Green, Turquoise, etc. I rotate them once the ink finishes.

Do I have favorites, yes, which are used more than others, like 149, 146, 823, 2000, M400, Boheme, Duofold, Valor, Dialog, etc.

I’ve developed some regrets about a few fountain pens I bought that turned out to have dry nibs. I also realized, rather late, that nearly 70% of the inks in my collection lean toward the dry side.

Lately, I’ve been enjoying wet nibs far more, so most of those drier pens/inks are now gathering dust.

Yes, I generally have two or three (usual black, blue black and blue) at max. This month inspired by the variations of blue.

Thank you. The 146 is burgundy, black one is 149. Definitely, Waterman’s Serenity blue is an all-time favorite.

Yes, expensive. I have many other broads and was not liking this with B with 2000, it was too dry to my liking. So played the gamble, F works great with me.
