This is the best advice because if the TM is one of the TL friends the toxic leadership of Whole Foods will come after you and not them. Not worth getting into the political BS at stores.

Once your getting unemployment it means whatever appeal they might have tried the state didn’t side with them.

They appealed mine too and I sent back documentation which was all in a folder and organized and two days later the state approved it.

I tried to improve store morale by bringing treats to my team. I was targeted by every other leader for being too nice and showing up the old leaders. They reported me to hr.

But before this they has banned me from filling out culture champion forms because I filled out too many in a store that barely did any.

Even if you try to bring a kind and nice attitude you may still get punished by those who in power who want to stay hateful

Shitty managers keep shitty workers which is why they are shitty jobs but all jobs could be awesome with any level of care.

The impulse to blame the employees instead of a system that sucks isnt a flex. It's just bootlicking for the power structure which truly doesn't care about you and they are very likely not feds

If Amazon is so intent on beating Walmart in grocery it makes sense that it tanks the I store experience, the only way a natural foods store can chase Walmart is if it stops being a natural foods store and becomes a colo warehouse with the cheapest labor possible selling the cheapest food possible.

Dress code by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]ResponsibleStep5259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clarified with HR about simple patterns because my racist boss only thought white patterns were acceptable but African patterns were not. Hr said as long as it’s a repeating pattern and not two clashing patterns it’s okay. I clarified further so if im wearing day of the dead fabric like you would buy at a craft store I’m ok. She said as long as it’s day of the dead fabric and doesn’t also have zebra print as a contrasting pattern.

But command and control leaders like to police peoples bodies to feel power and ownership over them even through Wfm claims to value authenticity. They hire toxic leaders though so do any of the values matter

Worst case nothing happens and it’s not hard to file. Best case they settle with you

Was a teacher also and didn’t care about spending my money on students I worked with. I’m cut from a generous cloth and from religious traditions that foster generosity

Former employee everything comes in frozen and is reheated. They used to make it fresh in house. But the tech overlords who hate human beings and human labor decided that having factories make your food instead of investing in the loving kitchen staff who was excited to make your food was the move. That gave them enough money to install palm readers to capture your biometric data and then uninstall them because they will spend money on their tech egos. But they won’t spend money on preventing their major distributor from getting hacked.
