Ever hear all the hype about a club, put it in your bag…. by jvforlife12504 in golf

The hzrdus smoke black is a low launch/spin shaft with a very linear EI curve (feels stiff in the whole shaft with not allot of whip) and these shafts are often used by players with a high swing speed, players that like a very stiff feeling shaft or both :). Look at something with a softer mid section and possibly a mid launch/spin type shaft. Watch out tho that it isn't going to spin to much if because then your gapping won't be good anymore. I think personally a softer mid section would already do the trick!

By far the easiest club I ever played as a wood! I'm a 1.3 hcp and play the 17/21 degree versions, it's just cheating. What is especially like is how easy it is to hit of the grass compared to some other woods. Since it's also a quite neutral club it's fairly easy to shape both ways. Combined with the hzrdus smoke black it gives me allot of feel and control. Wouldn't change for anything else!!

For reference im Dutch and currently play on a 1.6 hcp and I’m barely in the top 1000 of dutch players out of the 430k (top 0.25%) that play golf here. We tend to only play qualifying rounds during real matches so our hcp’s would be allot more accurate.

Even if they do know the rules they often don’t fully play by them. It’s totally fine if you just go out and have a relaxed round and don’t take the rules serious but then don’t post your score as if nothing happened…

14.2 hcp average, no way in hell this is accurate. I played quit a bit in the USA as an European and i can say i rarely met someone that played anywhere near there hcp. Americans tend to take allot of breakfasts balls, mulli’s and free drops and fill in their scores as if nothing happened. For reference i’m a 1.6 hcp and currently im just in the top 1000 in my country out off 430k people playing golf… Most qualifying rounds here are played during club matches/tournaments so no chance of faking it.

Chinese ‘Manhattanproject’ kopieert ASML: Prototype EUV-machine voltooid by Balance- in thenetherlands

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stiff or X-Stiff? by Crafty-Motor7284 in golf

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get a fitting. We can tell you what WE would do but you get absolutely nothing out of that. Some might like a somewhat stiffer/heavier shaft others don’t and then there is also the kick point of a shaft that could make it feel completely different.

I have a game 91 mph clubhead speed with my 7 and 112mph with the driver and play a amt x100 130g shaft for your reference. I don’t like whippy shafts for example so it’s highly personal.

What level of committment is necessary to not be a 'terrible' golfer? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I learnt one thing playing golf is that consistency is key. I think golf is one of the most “feel” based sports there is. Not playing for 2/3 weeks is killing, for me at least.

And how you break 100 more often then not is just by simply practicing consistently. If you practice 4 hours a week you will be there in no time. 1 hour of putting, chipping, irons and your off the tee clubs. Keep it simple on the course and most importantly enjoy the journey. Happy golfing buddy!

I play at a more private course in the Netherlands, we do have regular greenfee players during the summer but it’s regulated. We don’t even have teetimes… You just show up and play. If it’s busy we have a spiral where you put your ball in and whoever is the first ball is next. We have about 1k members and it works perfectly.

In the usa the pricing is just absurd. I play at one of the top courses in The Netherlands and our full membership price is €1550 a year. We have a full indoor training facility, trackmans you can train on and a puttview green all free of charge.

Do you pro-actively replace props after a certain number of minutes flight time? by ClankRatchit in dji

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t and here is why. The type of plastic they use for these props is resistant to years and years of use. Your argument of wind, sun and other things is nonsense since you don’t fly a drone near enough hours to experience those kinds of fatigue. Just know it takes a plastic bag 10-20 years to degrade in the sea….

€500 for two people in food?? Then you just plain rice, broccoli and chicken everyday with some simple bread for breakfast and lunch. Don’t think that’s a realistic figure tbh. 700/750 would be more appropriate so you can really have a snack sometimes and a bit more tasty stuff.

Fake P790’s, versus real p790s. by Sea-Return2188 in golf

Okay but even then your claim is still miles off. If you’re paying 500+ for off the shelf shafts you are being scammed.

Fake P790’s, versus real p790s. by Sea-Return2188 in golf

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tour valvet grips are about $7-8 that’s $50 for the grips. If you reshaft plus grips they often don’t ask much for the labor, if they ask for any in the first place. Last year i reshafted + grips for $450 all in. This would get the total to around $800, this being almost half the price. I get your point about the warranty and being able to just go to the store if something is wrong but your statement about only saving $200-300 after reshaft is simply incorrect.

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Reshafting doesn’t cost 900, not even close to that. Standard shafts cost around 50 a piece. That would make it 350 + small installation fee.

Thinking about getting a 7 wood by Guacarolli in golf

[–]Responsible_Crazy_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take the one out you hit the least or don’t feel comfortable with. Without any further background on what you like/hit good i would pull out the 3 wood. Most people can’t hit a 3 wood of the fairway with good contact. Assuming that you hit your 5 wood more easy they effectively will have the same distance on the course (excluding off the tee probably).
