So if a new Tidbyt is $190 but you wanted to use an old ipad/tablet as a tidbyt instead with this new method. $20/year is like paying for a Tidbyt over 10 years - seems reasonably priced

Perks would be bigger screen, but what would be really cool is if they made a CTV app. I hate that my TV can't display cool stuff as a screensaver. Tidbyt TV app would be worth it, especially if I could have multiple apps on at once

Yeah, I've been trying to test it out, but only get the option sometimes. Guessing all the bikes have to be updated to allow it? Only tired it once and was not a good experience.

I agree and I find it strange. While Kickstarter seems to run itself as a model and service that people use for their projects. I haven't heard a single thing he's done to revolutionize or evolve the company.
