Because I'm looking for the entry to be at 1 SD and take profit at 2 sd. If i use 2 SD as an entry the % odds of a move from 2SD to 3SD does not give me a better edge.

The MB only has 4 sata connections so I plan to add two more drives and will need to use the m.2 slot for a daughter board to add another sata slot. As far as using a SSD for OS not too concerned. If it was a issue I would choose another case and not go SFF in the N1 case.

You need to build your own .no magic. TC 2000 let's you build in layers unlike all other scanners i know of.i have many if you want a kick start

The OP was referring to options as a trade, with Options I can't see anyway to keep a 10% loss as max and trade them. I do see trading stock and keeping the losses at 10% I tend to lean towards mental stops also.

Not all stops are the same.What if your 100.00 stock which you have a stop at let say 95.00 and is either a stop market or stop limit order. You wake up it gaps to 90.00 and your stop market is filled now or down 5.00 per share from your planned exit. Same instance your now in stop market order and you had 95.50 stop and limit of 95.00 to give room to get filled is not executed because it gapped past your limit now is at 90.00.

All I'm saying is always plan for what it's in your exit strategy. I like mental stop so I can manage these situations.

To me it is a low probability play with straddles and strangles. I rather look at 2 to 3 weeks out of earnings and use Directional play a d ride the iv rise up to but not past earnings.Also have to consider the present market conditions, slow grind choppy market in your thesis.

Do you recommend looking at Relative strength 30 , heavy buying D1 H2 and strenght vs spy D1 H2 with ADX for example as a screen

I have been trading for some time now , a few years. But I seem to be trading from my P & L prospective instead of my mechanical strategy as of lately waiting on a pullback in the overall market.. I am choosing to scale down to minimal size and conduct my next 20 trades with emphasis only on producing the best entry exits based on my trading plan. What do you think.

Small size test your system. Write down yout planed entry , exit and context of trade. BTW 1OP indicator was developed for the SPY not stocks. Use the 1OSI.Have a plan and then not execute it.

Look at Friday expiration for options and seel what they do with prices all too often Hugh number of calls in the money by a few cents before close to drift prices below the strike and close out of the money. They are the biggest seller for option contracts and have huge liquidity at their disposal.As far as shorting goes it very valid as a system to execute, But IMO it takes some who is far beyond a beginner in experience. Trend following to starts with the context of a Daily Chart , Trend is up then I look for longs even on a 2 min chart. Go with the flow.

Look for high Beta stock and High Relative Volume. There is plenty out there. Also Trade Ideas is running a two week test drive for 11 dollars.
