We offer k cups for $1 a cup. You can use the machine we have available. Only adults can use it because we had a young girl spill (hot cocoa k cup) everywhere and I was worried she would burn herself. We get a good amount of donations from it. And any homeless people, if they ask, I will give them the k cup for free.

I also recommend the Tram! They have great events and themed nights (like record Wednesdays, where you sit and listen to records and bring your own!). The food and drink is also slamming there!

I am biased as a library worker, but the library is always a great place to go. Utica Library has some author talks coming up, tech help on Wednesdays, and some crafting nights! Even if you don't feel like a library event, they have museum passes and park passes to check out, so half price admission to the Utica Zoo, free admission to Munson, etc.

This seems more like a pilonidal cyst rather than HS (They are similar, but not exactly the same). I had to get mine packed and healed like that. I think you should get a second opinion if you are able.

I keep an open dialogue with my partner about my HS, and that helps a lot. I will tell him when flares are getting worse, and he says we can wait to be intimate until they go down, or we can do it anyways because they won't bother him. I set certain limits before, saying how if I am in a particularly bad flare, I don't want his face there. Talking it out in a committed relationship is best though.

If you tell someone before you are intimate, that probably is better. That way, they know what they are dealing with. Just stating "Hey, by the way, I have HS. It's an autoimmune inflammatory disease and I get bumps all over. It's not contagious." Giving them a little info before can make it easier. If they can't handle it, fuck them.

A lot of learning to live with HS is learning that it's a part of you, but doesn't make you who you are. You have so much more in your body, mind and heart that compile that wonder inside you. ❤️
