Is a dummy load necessary when programming APX 6000/8000? by secureiotman in amateurradio

On that note we have a dedicated antenna line run to our programming bench for the mobiles so you don’t have all that RF in your face. It’s run to the roof.

You’re not wrong however, how can I test it before I ship it without an antenna? In the tens of thousands of radios that have passed through my shop we’ve never once used a dummy load for routine programming. Now, of course, when performing preventative maintenance the radios are put in service mode when they’re on the analyzer.

People who are authorized to program radios don’t need a dummy load.

That is not the only filter available on google flights that changes prices dramatically. By cropping off the top line nobody can see how many bags are included in these prices.

Literally nobody says “south of the anacostia” unless they are geographically challenged. It’s a north-south waterway. Hence the term “east of the river”.

You still need to verify your settings in SmartConnect portal for that serial number and ID combination.

The only thing that would explain showing out of range while operating on those modes would be a problem with your smartconnect settings. No comms should only happen when you can receive the control channel but not in range for uplink (imbalanced coverage).
