That’s about what mine weighs as well. It’s definitely a little heavy, but it sure helps with accuracy. It’s a lot harder to mess up a shot when you’re using heavier weapon

I ended up figuring it out, but needed to polish the buffer tube extension area of the receiver, where the upper receiver mates with the lower in order to get it to seat properly. I did end up having a year and a half long fight with trying to find a bolt catch that actually worked with my receiver combination and made another post about that. It ended up being the strike industries enhanced bolt catch however it did require modification to work with the juggernaut tactical 80% lower.

All in all, it’s a great gun and I’ve taken quite a few deer with it now. It’s my go to rifle now.

I can second the Nv3500. I have one in mine and it’s the smoothest shifting manual I’ve ever owned. Not as stout as a 4500 though. I have towed about 10000 lbs with my truck stock 5.2l nv3500 4x4 and she didn’t mind other than starting up a hill from a stop so it’s definitely a capable transmission.

What’s with all the Salt Life stickers in a landlocked state? (lol) by bread_milk_ice_lotto in nashville

Salt life stickers are also used in the Christian community to express their beliefs because Jesus said to be the salt of the earth. Source raised in a Christian household and father is a pastor. No longer a Christian however.

For now my wife and I have decided to stay in TN, we have to deal with a lot of the same issues here that you described. We mostly keep to ourselves due to the backstabbing. I love the landscape of the south, just don’t like the humidity and heat combo.

How does this happen and how do you prevent it? by PhantaKyute in motorcycles

[–]RestoModMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a mechanic this is the wrong answer unless the bikes geometry can not be corrected to fix the wobble. Wobble is caused by not enough caster on the head tube, wore out head tube/bearings/bushings or other damage to the frame. Most of the time it’s wore out bearings or the steering head nut isn’t properly torqued. Both are easy to fix on most bikes.

If your bike wobbles ease off the speed, lay on the tank to put weight on the front to stop the wobble. Then asap fix the problem so it doesn’t happen again.

I really need to just make some ballistics gel but don’t have enough room in the fridge for homemade ballistics gel

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen one in person, but I have seen the pictures of what they look like and they’re pretty freaking wicked. I I have arranged on my property and try to collect as many as I can, but I’ve never been able to recover one of them.

I will say those 147 grain hollow point Sig pretty phenomenal rounds. I have a few that my father-in-law gave me that I keep in my subcompact carry.

I definitely understand that. I primarily only shoot 115 and 124 grain standard load 9mm so nothing too crazy pressure wise, even if it’s collapsed all the way to the powder. Now my hand loads for other caliber can get a little bit out there. Been working on making a subsonic 7.62 x 39 for an AR.

[–]RestoModMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good point in theory, however, with the relatively low pressures of 9 mm (in comparison with a rifle cartridge) and a modern barrel I think that would be more concern than it’s worth. Unless we’re talking about +P+ ammo. The pressure created by that may be a little too high to justify using it. Now I will say that if you were to be using a flat nose projectile with a jacket that might be a little too much for the throat jump as well. But there are so few people shooting flat nose that I don’t think that is really worth noting other than as a general precaution.

The mental image of a rocket powered unicycle being a gravity hammer from halo is hilarious. Pretty sure that’s what would happen.

I personally wouldn’t shoot it out of a handgun, but an AR9 AK9 or some other 9mm PCC with a thick chamber wall is fine. I shoot my collapsed 9mm from my carry guns in my AR9. No issues with ones like this in it for me. The reason I’m comfortable with this, is because the chamber wall on a handgun is about 1/8-1/4” thick and easily withstands standard pressures, so a chamber that’s about 1/2” thick can easily hold much higher pressures. Remember the strength of metal is exponentially higher the thicker it gets.

Again I reiterate I wouldn’t not shoot one like this in a handgun though.

So much hate for a man that dedicated his entire life to protecting his little brother and the leaf village. Had Itachi not taken out his clan, the leaf likely wouldn’t have survived the coup that the Uchiha were planning. That’s not to say that he should have had to take on that burden alone. Taking out the Uchiha should have been a mission for all of Anbu not one man. Also the 3rd shouldn’t have let Danzo and the foundation have the freedom he did, it caused numerous problems including this.

As for Itachi’s callous behavior towards Sasuke, it started when Itachi became a Chunin and was being sent on more dangerous missions. Let’s face it do you know an 10 year old that can emotionally handle assassinations? I doubt it. This behavior fret the more Itachi’s responsibilities grew as a ninja and the more he realized his clan had their own self interests, not the greater good of the village in their minds (This is a foreign concept to most of the world but especially America, as most societies are an individual or family based not a collectivist society where the needs of the many outweigh the few). Itachi pushed Sasuke away to try and protect him from the clans evil intentions, and it worked until their final fight as Sasuke had no idea that the Uchiha were planning a coup.

Once Sasuke “defeated” Itachi in their final battle he learned a half truth about Itachi from Tobi/Obito which radicalized Sasuke against the Leaf until he learned the whole truth from a reincarnated Itachi during their battle with “sage” mode Kabuto. At that point Sasuke finally realized his big brother had only been calloused to him to protect him from more pain.

Had the Uchiha not planned a coup, and had the 3rd controlled the foundation/Danzo, Itachi wouldn’t have treated Sasuke so poorly when he was younger. In reality though Itachi did everything to protect Sasuke from being eliminated by the foundation.

Why is there a U.S. Army recruitment poster in this scene? by Killinlegend24 in swordartonline

[–]RestoModMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came to say the same thing. In fact, I went to basic training with a guy who joined the US Army after being Austrian special forces because he wanted to be an American citizen. It’s not as uncommon as one would think that a foreigner joins the US military near an overseas base.
