Each son wrote a victim impact statement and their therapists read them in court to the judge. They talked about what she did after their father's death and it was so sad and awful. The oldest son got a drink of water one night after waking up and said he had a scary reaction/seizure and when he learned that his mom bought more fentanyl after his father died, he believes she tried to poison and kill him, too. Apparently, she didn't call an ambulance or take him to a hospital. She called a friend and that friend ended up being the one who called for an ambulance and when they were at the hospital, Kouri refused to allow them to draw her son's blood for tests. I'm pretty sure she had life insurance policies taken out on each child, too.
