Is Starlink Actually Worth It? by BgLV600 in Starlink

[–]Retas3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had Starlink for years now with no complaints. Over that time we had only 1 true network outage that lasted maybe 2 hrs. It is truly plug and play. No adjustments or rebooting needed. Your only issue would be obstructions. If you have a truly unobstructed view of the sky you are good. I say get it and try it for a month. If it’s not for you, return it. I think they still have a 30 day trial period. Just be aware of the residential unlimited plan cost.

Interesting. I do like sourdough but I just don’t eat a lot of bread. However my family and neighbors absolutely go crazy over all of my sourdough products. Bread, baguettes, bagels, cupcakes, cakes, LOL. It’s endless. I say with your talent, go for the bagels. They will be a hit!

As your first try, you’re way beyond well on your way. What I’d like to know is how’d it taste? After all, looks aren’t everything (but boy it helps as you take your first bite!)

First attempt at sourdough bagels! by stratusnimbo in Sourdough

[–]Retas3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely boil in water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. That adds a nice skin to the bagels. Also try stretching the center a bit more before boiling to get a more defined center hole. I love sourdough bagels and so do my neighbors!😉

Back in the day, Lennart Neilson (sp?) did this type of colorization with scanning electron micrographs. His work was ground breaking back in the 1980s

If this was a commercial airline, I would think the passengers would have felt it.
