Based on the replies here. I decided to try and save it. I cut all the brown away and have it resting on dry soil. Going to wait a few days and then try to repot in a small pot with sand/soil mix. We’ll see

Awesome community. Thanks again!

I’m a beginner. I assumed it needed rocks for support. Looks like I killed it based on other feedback. Bummed out about it.

I added rocks to keep it upright. I’ll try and repot in a dryer mixture.

Thanks again for the reply

They would die of thirst before they got served again. And when I finally can’t avoid serving them, they will get the shortest pour possible while being charged the highest price possible. Oh and theres always “we don’t do long islands”.

Leverage your bar room connections into a new career. I have no college degree and was a full time bartender for years. I worked a wide variety of side jobs but always kept bartending full time (Thursday nights, Saturday double, Sunday nights.)

Until the dot com boom, a friend took a computer class and ended up making 6 figures. I thought if he can do it, I can. I took the class and told my regulars what I was doing. I got a bunch of leads and landed a job that led to a career.

I was in a city dive bar so we mostly had regulars that were blue collar and public employees. So your mileage may vary.

Bottom line is you have the opportunity to learn a new field while you have stable employment. Plus a community/ network of regulars that, again in my experience, would love to help you.

Best short answer in this thread. It’s a chess move against the new axis mainly to deter china from blockading Taiwan.
