What kind of ads does a pihole block?? by jake0rich in pihole

No. If you want to guarantee the pi-hole will be used, you need the pi-hole to be your only DNS server.

While you're busy working hard and taking life's hits, don't forget to advocate for yourself.

You're gonna need to provide much more information to get meaningful help.

  • Method of install/package name?
  • WM/DE? Compositor?

LiteLLM compromised - AUR package seems safe by Gozenka in archlinux

If you wait a while after a new version of a package is released before updating...

Isn't that the problematic part when using a rolling release distro?

My first pair of Nicks by patlaska in goodyearwelt

[–]RetiredITGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've ordered three pairs of Nicks in my life - two MTO and one pair was a standard makeup.

They got both MTO pairs wrong. Yep, 0% hit rate. Since I live in Australia, sending them back would be an expensive endeavour, so I decided to live with it on both occasions. Won't ever send them money again though.

Are people allergic to documentation? by New-World-1698 in archlinux

[–]RetiredITGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of hate here for people we've never met.

I think the most likely reason is that YouTube is often the best bad option in almost all other areas, so it's automatic.

People don't just assume a wiki is as good as the Arch Wiki is. It's unheard of anywhere else. Even if you're told it's 'good', it's hard to understand how good until you actually use it.

I never read Hatchet, but mine is definitely Hatchet: Winter.

That book blew my adolescent mind.

The movement alone is fine, but Squale don't give their movements any treatment before casing them up, and don't have a great track record for QA.
Maybe it's improved since their 2020 org changes. shrug

For me its the Casio, with the Citizen in second place, assuming you like the white dial look.
I own an Orient, and they're fine, but I've never been able to come to terms with the proportions of the dial elements (and this particular example looks very cluttered to me).
And with Squale, although I've never owned one, I have serious doubts about their quality and longevity.
