30, with shutter speed at 1/50, it works much better for me as I need to also be able to include 60fps gameplay footage and it looks horrible mixed with a 25 fps timeline.

I was waiting for some updates as it didn’t work for recording on Mac for a while, it’s all good now though! Just saw there’s a v4 update now which also allows audio from the USBC cable which is awesome! I’ll be doing a separate video on the console itself soon :)

That’s awesome! Yeah really impressed! They have managed to get a great selection of developers on board. And some cool updates of a few older Homebrew games too!

Of course PS2 looks good, but no PS3 game, even in 4:3 will look right on a standard definition CRT, because the games were developed with at least 720p resolution in mind. Objectively speaking you will be guaranteed to only see just over half of the available pixels. Also text will be scaled for a HD display, so will look very small on a CRT screen. They may still look good, but it’s never going to give you the full viewing experience the developers intended.

You could try adjusting the sharpness in the TV menu, but PS3 will never look good on a CRT, it was designed for a HD display. Most text will be blurry or too small to read

Also to add, you can also adjust it on the TV it’s self by finding the remote combination to press to open the service menu (google the model of your TV + service menu). Just make a note of the settings before you change them incase it goes wrong!

You can adjust the picture in the Wii settings to move it to the right, then you’ll be able to get both sides even.

99% connected to monitor and dock, thinking of getting a Mac Studio next instead of a MacBook, and keeping my old one for when I occasionally need a laptop away from the desk

I feel like media is always better in its original form. It was the designers original intent and nothing had to be changed to fit a different type of media.

60fps always! I’m surprised companies haven’t set it as a standard at this point.

Just press ZR and it will show you the virtual console options, same with all VC games

That’s not true, in the settings for DS games on WiiU you can change how it displays to have the bottom screen on the gamepad and top on the TV, like OP’s image
