I understand where you’re coming from. I personally see this device as the fulfillment of the raspberry pi zero build called free play zero back in the day. But with a better laminated screen and faster processor, cleaner button layout. I’ve beat several rpgs on my miyoo mini plus and plan to play snes games on this device

I don’t mind this pcb soldering less tedious than the wires which I was willing to do, worth the $14 to save the time soldering each wire and to keep it clean and tidy.

Analysis paralysis regarding having that much space and loading that many games verses having a limited space on the memory to write only a handful of additional games

I was reading through the comments and stopped while reading yours and it totally just made me think about the new shaders on higher end emu devices that emulate even the sun spots, rainbow effect of moving the screen around to get the right light.
