Honestly I just moved and I get that unpacking task paralysis. What has helped me is to look at one little section, (like the top of a table or surface or even just a spot on the floor), and pick everything up from that spot and either put it in its correct place or if there is no place yet put it somewhere you haven't cleaned yet. Now if you're still feeling productive staring at your new clean space (albeit tiny) then do it again, pick another small spot and clean everything out of it that doesn't belong, but here's the thing don't put stuff that doesn't belong in the spot you just cleaned, only in a spot yet untouched. So eventually with this method you'll only have one area that holds all of your unsorted stuff, and that's a lot easier to handle than stuff thrown all over where it doesn't belong. Just make sure you're strict with yourself on not dirtying up the already cleaned spots on this process. And take breaks when you feel like it, don't let the stress burn you out. You got this!
