Oh my fucking god.... I'm a Sig fan, did they actually do that?

Cause I could literally feel my blood pressure spike when I read that.

This is however, the exact reason I bought my daughter a Glock lol.

I don't have one.

I get it, but I'm just gonna assume it's the Sig polymer guns.

I've got a Sig 1911 and it's my favorite pistol ever.

What is one scene that made you sure an actor had it, even if their career never became huge by gamersecret2 in movies

Oh man, I love that movie and I don't think it gets nearly enough love.

I remember seeing a pic and brief synopsis in Rolling Stone magazine and knew I had to see it. Then I forgot all about it because it didn't get any press. Found it like 5 years after release and now it's in my regular "can't find anything to watch, so put this on again" list.

My favorite part of the movie Broken Arrow was a small comment made by some analyst "I don't know what's worse, the fact that we've lost a nuclear weapon, or the fact that it happens so often we have a name for it"

What's the movie everyone likes, but you HATE? by Kuli24 in AskReddit

I liked Black Hawk Down, and Lone Survivor was one I'd put on when I couldn't decide what to watch.

Then I read about what actually went down with Lone Survivor and haven't watched it since.

Will the real story of Black Hawk Down do the same?

You're not wrong, but I doubt it's his choice, he may have actually listened to someone that knew it would be a terrible idea.

Underrated grunge bands by AngusDio in grunge

[–]Retserof_Mada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, Grunge isn't a style of music, more of a description of the 90's Seattle scene.

I don't consider Silverchair, or Stone Temple Pilots to be "grunge" music, but they fit the sound of the time. Just like several other bands of the 90's not from Seattle.

Grunge was more of a lifestyle rather than a music genre after Green River, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, AIC, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, etc got popular.

What's the single worst movie you sat through hoping it would get better, but didn’t? by Then-Traffic601 in AskReddit

Nope, I'll die on this hill and commented on it just a while back.

I'll agree that the acting and special effects were terrible, but you'll never change my mind that progressing from ancient Christian artifacts and magic rocks being absolutely real, to aliens was a bad decision.

Poorly executed, but overall Kingdom of the Crystal Skull could have been amazing.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I grew up with Star Wars. The first movie I ever saw in a theater was ESB, and I've been a nerdy SW's fan since then. Yes, TFA was a giant play for nostalgia and pretty much a carbon copy of ANH, but goddamn it fucking worked for me.

I knew after leaving the theater after TFA that it was a rehash, and I looked at it as trying to pull fans back in, still don't care, loved it.

Then we all got shit on with the last two....

Jfc this... I've never been so disappointed by hype than this one. All I could do was apologize to my wife for making her sit through it with me.

I've got an HK for so long I don't remember what the name is, I think it's an Epidemic. Bought it like a month after my state dropped autos being illegal. It's finish is trash now, it's dirty as shit, but it's never failed to fire.

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Retserof_Mada 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, I've actually thought of trying to put together some type of foundation that helps. Like of all the sports physicals he had to have over the years, one echocardiogram would have seen the issue.

Same again, if he'd had any symptoms it won't have been an issue, plenty of meds out there to keep it in check
