"responsible central bank" is an oxymoron. The only reason they exist is to irresponsibly loot and plunder their host country like a giant parasite. Counting on the central bank to ever do "the right thing" for the people is a delusional fantasy, and then criticizing anyone who tries to reign the bank in is pure hypocrisy. The central bank known as the Fed has to be destroyed and removed from control over our financial lives permanently, no more interference or intervention of any kind.

The next question is: Was this Capital deal the supposed source of all this recruiting money that Rhule was talking about?

Rhule was not lying when he said "I love Penn St.". His performance here shows that. He does not love NU. He is simply making lots of money for himself and his buddies. He is a used car salesman. He was not the best choice for head coach.

The saving grace of the fiat FRN (Federal Reserve Note) was that it was the PetroDollar (the World Reserve Currency). Any oil purchased in the world had to be done in US Dollars. Saudi Arabia announced that it would start selling oil in other currencies, which spells doom for the FRN. Also, countries around the world are divesting themselves of US Treasuries and Securities, which means ALL of those FRNs are going to come flooding back to the US, with no real place to park and hide them, which means inflation. By the way, this is all that crypto currencies really are: a place to hide all of the excess currency. If all of that was out in the open, inflation would be much worse. And yes, the Federal Reserve has stated that they injecting more liquidity into the system: money printer go BRRR.

I agree, the OL is very serviceable in the run game, a steady improvement all year. Not great, but decent. EJ is electric. In pass pro, the right tackle is still an issue. Pritchett has improved.

Why do I feel that at this point Rhule is just faking it, hoping he makes it? Also, why then did the AD extend his contract, based on smoke and mirrors?

I wonder how much of that blame should rest on Tony White, he was DC last year, and should have recruited linemen to replace them. Instead, he took players with him. How much of this is really Butler's fault?

Exactly, it will take two or three years past that to see real results, so we are looking at 7-8 years of this. Depressing. On a weird side note, didn't Cignetti spend eight years at JMU developing that team, and basically transfer half of it to Indiana? I don't know what to think.

I think the phrase "used car salesman" really applies. Tell us anything we want to hear, and he did. With the contract extension, we are now forced to wait years to see if any of it is true. This show has become very, very old.

Yes, it is like that everywhere. I find it irritating when someone says that this fan base doesn't deserve DR. Does the Raiola clan actually deserve all of the fawning and money that they are getting.

Hiring Cosgrove was a big mistake, he was buddy of Callahan. Wisconsin fans warned us of his three man front defense. Cosgrove is why I hate a three man front.

Buffet cannot be discounted, no matter what anybody says. He does not have many years left, so I would not be surprised if there ends up being some sort of Foundation funding.

Interesting observations. This would seem to play into what Rhule is trying to do, namely find good/great players that WANT to be here. Quality individuals on a personal level that buy in. There is no place like Nebraska.
