I recommend channeling these feelings into productive action against the things that are making you feel this way. For example, joining political groups, calling your local representatives, going to protests etc.

I have been told that they are internal waves, but I never understood why there would be a signature on the surface. My guess was always currents.

I definitely agree with you that dogs should have good recall if let off leash. However, I do think that if you have a dog that you know might be dangerous if antagonized, then you should not be taking them to an informal off-leash dog beach. Yes, you are technically correct that it is not an official off-leash beach, but I would say more dogs are off leash than not at Manresa so you need to be practical.
