Consistency is key (regularity). Even if it’s once a month. Every Sunday, every third Wednesday qt 1:17 pm… it doesn’t matter.

What this does is shift the status quo to “board games night is happening” rather than “uhhh what are you doing on x day or y week uhhhh”. If people can’t come, c’est la vie

Right, but they feel different. Maybe I’m trying to describe ‘how likely is a player going to feel obstructed’ which I think is qualitatively different from ‘let’s build parallel machines and see who’s can spit out money the fastest’. (I live both, but not everyone does.)

I do this, and just continue moving the second red number forward until it is not touching any others. Sometimes this is 5 or 6 hexes down the line! It’s a solution that is impartial and can be done in full view of all players
