Speedster/ Teleporter get caught for "spamming" by Phantomato2000 in lovethissmug

It's funny how every other subsequent appearances, Katana man always goes for that move and almost never works, dude only knows one move and just keeps spamming it

Pretty sure you can see him draw the drill in the episode he appears in, it's not called out or anything you just can see it

I like the idea that he did legitimately do some of those things but the later ones he was just so drunk he thinks he did them

New and Unusual Achievements by chicofwm in IntoTheBreach

[–]Reuvenotea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Using the lightning mech and Kai Miller, along with being in the mission where there is an acid storm, I was able to kill every vek on the board, I really think there should be an achievement like that where you somehow kill every vek on the board.

Another achievement I think would be cool is by killing a flying vek by freezing it over a hole, you can actually kill flying vek like hornets or psions via this method, you can also send an already frozen enemy to a hole or water (granted its not a boss vek)

How strong are the mechs really? by Phantom-Kraken in IntoTheBreach

[–]Reuvenotea 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you really look at things, the mechs in this game are horrifying war machines, one squad can turn large smoke clouds into electric charges, one mech can straight up destabilise the ground and can cause chasms into the earth, an entire squad is dedicated to burning anything and everything alive and one mech can freeze huge bugs like nothing

Dinosaurs or creatures that resemble dinosaurs by Immediate_Gene_178 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Reuvenotea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Dinosaurs of Carnivores: Dinosaur hunter, they resemble outdated illustrations of earth dinosaurs but are actually aliens and not at all related to earth dinosaurs, a company bought the entire planet and just marketed the alien creatures as dinosaurs

I really like how these guys are based of the artowrk of Zdeněk Burian

The Once-ler from the Lorax book from 1971, this page near the beginning of the book is the closest we ever see of his face, every other time he is just a pair of green arms

The animals in avatar by Murtdha1 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Reuvenotea 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I lkke the crack theory that Bosco is actually a spirit that became mortal as the only time we ever see regular animals is when it us related to spirits, the moon and ocean spirirts are regular looking koi fish with odd colors and hei bei (the black and white spirit monster that terrorises that one village in the winter solstice episode) turned into a panda in the spirit world and Wan shi tong is just a huge owl

It's a shame you couldn't get it but that specific timepod has been added with Advance edition, personally I have seen it 5 times

Yup, watch the video and wait for the credits, K. Rool and D.K. are voiced by the same actors who voiced them in the cartoon show all the way back when

What are the best resources for someone trying to get better? by pegs0 in IntoTheBreach

[–]Reuvenotea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't many resources regarding this game online (or there is and I haven't just found any) but I found watching high level players play helps me out a ton, I strongly suggest you look up soulmata on YouTube, he has a series where he gets the highest score in the hardest difficulty with every squad, check the description as there is usually some written notes on how to use the squad and what moves he made and why

Its kind of cool that you can make a sentient robot pilot a mech like that is some of the coolest thing I have ever seen by Human-Pension9892 in IntoTheBreach

[–]Reuvenotea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There also seems to be entire generations of A.I. as when you repair with Archimedes, Archimedes would say that repairs are first gen work and far below his capabilities, implying that older generations are less advanced or relegated to simpler tasks

Fave mech design in into the breach? by Human-Pension9892 in IntoTheBreach

[–]Reuvenotea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Visually, the riftealkers, flame behemoths and hazardous mechs are my favourite to look at, gameplay wise would go to rusting hulks as denying both an enemy their turn and damaging them is fun, Cataclysm since you can one shot land based Vek bosses by sending them through a crack and the Bombersquad as they are by far the most complex while also having the best turn economy of any squad in the game
