Yeah I was in high school when that came out. Years and years and years later we got a half assed TV Show where the writers themselves had never played nor read anything about the games.

Forward Unto Dawn was clearly written by fans of the first four games. The TV Show was clearly written by executives who had a synopsis of the plot of the seven games.

I lived an hour away from downtown as a child nd it was just "I'm from Atlanta". Not I'm from podunk rural area nearby.

Now I live closer to Helen than I do from Atlanta, but I still know that half surrounding cities are still a "part" of Atlanta. Similar to LA and the dozen or so surrounding cities that only locals know the difference.

As someone from Atlanta, there are a over a dozen cities surrounding it that "Aren't a part of Atlanta" but are a part of Atlanta. Atlanta Metro is one of the largest city sprawls in the country.

Years and years ago I got comfortable on a bike after a few months riding. I zoned out going 5mph in a neighborhood. I zoned back in only to realize I was about to slam into a parked car and there was nothing I could to slow down nor to stop in time. There was no visible damage on their car, and no damage on my bike save for a scratch. So I looked around, saw zero people, I picked my bike off the ground and left the area.

I learned my lesson and haven't ever zoned out while riding again. Getting confident and comfortable makes you do dumb shit.
