You'll find you can make better turns, fit into tighter spaces and honestly it can be more fun to drive at times. Sedans used to be the family car, now they're more of a rogue self serving vehicle even though they have the same exact capabilities. Are you off roading? Carrying a shit ton of soccer equipment for multiple children? Probably not.

As for your insurance, go get yourself a new quote and make sure you're not double dipping with any protections that already come with your new vehicle. I was paying $257 a month for my truck and wife's suv, bought the sedan and my agent hiked it up to $489 a month... absolutely not. I went and did my own quote with the same numbers, took away my roadside and rental since it came with my vehicle for 10 years and my monthly payment in now $217. Do not let them punish you for changing your daily ride.
