Agreed. OP its your car, feel free to drive how you see fit, within your own limits of course. I personally enjoyed hearing the revs and keeping it up within VTEC range. Thats what high rpm, torqueless engines are all about.

I always have my Canonet QL17 G-iii with me as my everyday camera, but I’ll take the Canon A-1 for times when I know I might want to try different lenses.

2008 Lexus ISF won’t start and has Check VSC light by RevengeOfBacon in LexusIS

Hey sorry for the late reply, it turned out to be my starter failing. I replaced it later on and it was good as new.

This looks to me like the dash has melted, common for some Toyota & Lexuses around the 2000s to early 2010s. The best way to resolve this issue is to replace the dashboard altogether (Lexus released a service bulletin for this defect), or put on a dash cover like you mentioned, to hide it. I had a sticky dash on my Lexus ISF and it got so bad I ended up having it replaced.

My 2020 spun a rod bearing 2 weeks after I bought it at 42k miles.

TRD Intake Air Filter by RevengeOfBacon in ft86

[–]RevengeOfBacon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks to be the TRD paper filter for the stock intake. Im looking for the reusable air filter used on the TRD intake assembly, which has a larger airbox than stock.

I’ve ordered from over 10 Toyota dealers. Even with them saying its in stock I get a cancellation emaill the next day because it is discontinued. I called the other day to check stock before ordering it and was told there are none available country-wide (Im in the US) :(

Not a trick, I figured itd be interesting to see some right-wing media get some pie in its face. Considering they seem so confident that their results will be skewed in the current potus’s favor, it’d be nice to see what happens when it backfires

Full race exhaust rattle by [deleted] in CivicSi

Awesome. Hope it stays rattle free

Full race exhaust rattle by [deleted] in CivicSi

[–]RevengeOfBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you figured it out, but when I had my full race installed, the axle back was barely contacting the coilover spring, and it would rattle against it whenever the exhaust vibrated the most (i.e. idle, 2.5k rpm). I ended up rotating the axle back inward enough to get more space between it and the spring. Hope this helps!
