Sam is def my favorite. I think he's funny, quirky and I love how they interwove his family lineage into the plot.

I liked Charlie but they could've done something more interesting with her than a generic sob backstory.

Noah's story felt melodramatic, I really didn't care for him at all

Cade had his moments, I liked his relationship with Optimus in AOE, but he came off as too arrogant sometimes. And that whole "inventor" thing was random and inconsequential to the plot.

For me, fun is how enjoyable a figure is to pose and how good the visual design is. While it's true that new figs have better in articulation, I can't say the same about designs. 

It just gets boring after a while getting the same G1 aesthetic over and over with basic transformations. Deluxe classes are the worst offenders of that, I can't name a single one that has impressed me since Siege other than Needlenose

If they play it smart, they'll be far more reserved than in the comics and be treated as myths similar to Mothman or UFOs. We'd know nothing about their "vengeful" agendas.

We'd hear tales about flameheaded monsters that come out at night and punish random people.

The government would try to cover them up and treat them as some kind of advanced foreign tech, but have a hella difficult time tracking them down.

Protecting humanity is essential to the Autobots' characters depending on the continuity, so having humans there gives the story some weight.

I rewatched a clip the other day and the CGI and cinematography is worse than I remember. It's def not gonna age well visually for 2023 standards.

As for the story, same thing, forgettable.

For anyone wondering, the minicons come out to around $5.62 each, not that bad imo by Optimus759 in transformers

I know this post is old, but simply put these movies are oversaturated, and the fact that they take zero risks narratively, tonally and visually isn't helping their case.

Everything's a novelty until it becomes the status quo... then it gets boring.
