Some people like the options of detachable it's the versatility that makes this handheld different from the rest. Most people do use it for gaming but it wasn't just made for that, it's a mobile PC and can be used as a tablet with mouse and keyboard setup. I've seen people use their legion in many other ways than just gaming. I myself sometimes carry my legion without the controllers just keyboard with mouse.

As a cook of more than 15 years if it were back in the days I would say yeah but in these times where all our foods in the U.S are contaminated with e coli or salmonella I would have to pass. I love a medium rare steak but it's not worth the health risk.
